Why you want to join: Hm... well, I don't consider myself to be a grammar "Nazi". I mean, it's not like I want to put anybody who can't spell into concentration camps (X3); but chat-speak is one of my biggest pet-peeves.

Do you have a brain: My body functions fairly well for someone without a brain, no?

So imagine this sentence, terrorizing an a role play of yours. Annoying right? So when people use their character's name 80+ in one paragraph or all they use is the word "said" after a good, grammatically incorrect rant from their character. So I think we should unite, as the grammar and writing freaks we are. There are many clubs and armies dedicated to these wonderful people, but I think we can create a great refuge for all grammar freaks Grammar Nazis and avid writers of any sort.

Personally, it bugs me that people don't RP at least semi-literately all the time. I understand that many people on Chicken Smoothie are foreign and their first language is not English, but when it is, it's only polite to care about what you posts post, I think.

Why you want to join: I absolutely cannot stand instances in which people don't use proper grammar. Yes, I am OCD about it. In fact, I can hardly stand to look at it.
