I, personally, look for colours that go well together and sometimes cute accessories. I'm not a big fan of hair, but depending on it I may. I also love the ones with fennec ears and bobtails c;

Depending on the design and rules, I might. When it comes to 'impress me' forms I am onto it like BAM it's just so much art so much writing so much love.

What do you like to look for in a kitsuneko

I like looking for Kitsuneneko that have a design that would easily relate to japanses folklore/culture because I've been genuinely interested in that for awhile.
I would also like to see if it has nicely matched colors and the accessories don't seem out of place.
I don't really care about the mutations and foxfire as much.
But the one mutation that makes me laugh most is Substance DNA because what if they're trying to run away from a scenario and all they leave is tracks.... :3

What do you like to look for in a kitsuneko

Natural themed and pastel/light colours. No dark colours. I'm quite a fan of accessories but I don't like it when a character is just loaded with them - just some to help bring out the rest of their features. I also like a bit of hair though it depends really.

Do you go all-out when trying out for kitsunekos?

What do you like to look for in a kitsuneko
No hair, as a personal choice, and a design I 'click' with. This varies, but usually involves a solid colour and some markings on top. Maybe with a lighter underside thrown in. Bright eyes are a plus

I try to, but sometimes things come up that prevent me from doing so.

If I'm trying out for a kitsu, then I really really want it, so yes. I can't tell you how long I fretted over Shanmaos's form. xD
