I usually use curveballs! It might take a little practice if you’d like to use them for that, but you just spin the ball around a few times and then toss it. The main thing is though trying to release the ball at the right height and when the circle starts to get smaller. I wish you luck getting Mew! What helped me is looking up the tasks later on so I could save candies and things!

Really its nothing more than just practice. I've found that over time your fingers just get used to the motion and you get more nice and great throws on average.

If you practice you get the hang of it. I usually throw them to the far right or far left to get them. Just keep practicing and you can do it just fine, I had trouble too but now I use curveball all the time

This.. practice practice practice.. now i cant hardly throw straight balls! Ive found if you do more of an elliptical/oval shape instead of circling it works better
As for great throws, look for big pokemon! Wailmer, taurus, anything with a big circle.. avoid things like ratatas, pidgeys and weedles because you have to throw super soft or you overthrow

I mostly get small Pokemon where I live unless we have massive rainstorms, which is dumb and weird honestly lol. I haven't been able to go to a lot of places to pick up Pokeballs to spare for mistakes, but I've still been trying to spin them and so far I managed to get one whole great throw haha.

Where I live the most common pokemon are Pigeys and Rattatas.... I did managed to get a Xatu when I was walking to my bedroom a couple days ago. Those incense really helped too. Also I undervalued the Pinap berry. Didn't know that those gave you double the candies for the pokemon you catch.

Nice job, Lissajo! I didn’t get the chance to go out for it ^^’
I just got back from an Alolan Raichu raid but despite trying for four rounds, I didn’t get it. I was by myself though and it was a level three raid, so I guess it wasn’t much of a surprise lol. If only the time limits were longer then I could take one of them on my own
