- Sorry for a huge silence; I broke my finger so typing has been really hard smh.
@ TenMomentsTill Thank you! I was really inspired by komodo dragons, so i owe my thanks to David Attenborough really xD RE the headfrills, I imagine there to be general variance based on the height of each male, but it to fan out like a cuff just beyond the neck to a hands-width.
Oh wow, poor Nikolai! I can totally imagine a parent turning around to try and suppress a child from saying they can see ghosts in that case. Also, your art is downright gorgeous - so much love for the way you draw noses. And hair. A lotta love right there. Also love the idea of familiars being for moral support. Legit what my cat is in real life lol.
Nevorous is gorgeous too. I misread it as Nervous at first, the irony that would be for a God of space ha ha. You address Neverous in the plural, is it a singular individual with plural pronouns, or are they a group? What does being a Space God entail? Are they actively worshipped, or do they have a duty too? Do your shapeshifters adopt just one singular form, or can they change their forms as it's appropriate for the tasks they face?

@ QuantumNightmare Thank you too <3 I really enjoy learning about different world class systems, and the Indian caste system is something I've always heard of, but never really been taught or understood. I recently had an Indian lecturer, and she was often sharing stories about her clan and the caste system, and it just inspired me to develop a similar system.
Woah regarding Gyr's story! It sounds so well thought out, I'll have to look more into yōkai legends; I can't say I know anything about Japanese folklore, legend or history really. I feel a bit ashamed about it now ha ha. I read through the first chapter of Meetings, and I really like your writing! You should have more confidence in it for sure, it's really well written and I can't wait to read more -and find out about Evelyn and Miura. Love me an assassin c;

@ Sp00k I hope we don't make you feel self-conscious in a bad way; I'd never want to create an environment where someone felt unable to share their OCs with other people for fear of judgement or otherwise. Your new baby looks super cute, does s/he have a name? //shoot raey beat me to that question, but i echo her curiosity//
--
@ Raey oh you're writing a book, I didn't know you were writing a book! ;) huehue. But on a more serious note, I don't think I ever asked what inspired you to start write a book, and why you decided to write it in English? Not that I'm complaining, you know that I am impossibly excited to read it, and refuse to read anything before it's finished.
I also don't think i've ever met Ry before. And that feels fundamentally wrong we need to address this issue forthwith Darn those evil jerks. RY IS TOO ADORABLE i cannot handle this deepbreathingpandledon'tgetenviousthatraeyhasnevershownyouthisbefore i need all the intel on him right now.

@ madness, I'm just curious because comet is no longer in your signature, if you could share anything more about her? Why is she your favourite? What inspired you to create her?

More generally, how do people keep track of their characters? I know charahub is popular -a few of my friends use it- but I'm not sure how I feel about sharing my characters on a website where anyone could snatch bits and pieces. I know nothing I create would be used in published materials, and I'd probably never know if someone were to steal, but I'm sure we're all equally protective about our characters all the same. Do you choose to write them up in Word documents, or does having them online make it easier in someway? I recently realised that all the old information I had for my oldest character, Vlad, is no longer available. I'm a bit gutted, because he's such an old character and has changed so much since the beginning. It would have been great to access his old work, but I had it saved on word documents on a laptop that died long ago. Do you worry about losing your info and characters?
