this whole "shiro's a clone" theory BETTER BE RIGHT especially considering how he talked to lance in that last episode (him not feeling like he's in his own head?????) because i will NOT stand the shiro i know being so harsh. Let Lance Lead For Once

Yay, I got some conformation that Shiro is in fact a clone, and we should retaliate against him! He yelled at Lance and was an aggressive control freak. Thanks to that Shiro, Keith almost blew up Lotor.
FIGHT AGAINST THE CLONE! HAHAHAHA!

So did anyone else feel like the new season was pushing Lotor x Allura? Which I don't hate but I still ship Shallura...shallura till the end...hahaha.

also honestly at this point i don't think that lotor and allura could have a thing. i mean, we're all waiting for lotor's big betrayal, right? i think that, if anything, the only reason lotor would try to get closer to her is to gain more information/control/whatever.. something that will benefit him.

though i have to admit they were kinda cute together in the last episode

Okay so spoilers below.

So i'm kinda shocked about how this whole Lotor thing turned out. I was sure Lotor was tricking team Voltron and was 100% pure evil but it turns out he is actually a huge nerd who likes Altean alchemy. I still don't 100% trust Lotor and I am kinda nervous about him being on the throne. (also I'm really shocked they killed off Zarkon.. If Lotor is their friend who is their foe now? Just the galra who refuse to follow Lotor?)

Also where was the Altean archer from the Netflix clip? Will she appear in season 6?

Lotor was set up from the very beginning as a manipulative character, a well-constructed villain who has many layers. He hasn't betrayed the team yet because it wouldn't benefit him to do so. With Zarkon dead, your immediate act of questioning who the villain will be is exactly what the writers want - they intend to make Lotor's eventual betrayal a plot twist, because he is meant to become the new main villain (along with the Galran politics, but that will be a smaller threat). If you want me to explain in further detail, I will but I'm trying not to get carried away and write an essay on this lmdfsd
And yes, that Altean archer will be in Season 6.

i have no doubts that lance will soon be the black paladin. he's lead voltron more than shiro did during season five and progressed a lot.

shiro is definitely a clone, or he's being brainwashed. shiro would ever act behind allura's back like he did to get lotor on the throne. my theory is that lotor, in the last season, got into his brain somehow and is controlling him in some way. he was never surprised by his words or actions and shiro agreed with everything lotor said the entirety of season 5. the major hint was when he called out to lance — i think shiro's trapped inside himself, and he was able to speak freely for the few seconds in the dimension the paladins were in. it makes sense; that's why everything went black for fake shiro. he was blocked out.

i really do think that him calling out to lance was foreshadowing lance's rise to leading voltron. why wouldn't he call out to allura, who everyone thinks will lead? why lance?
