Did anyone here get to attend the Safari event? I had a friend who in the area who snagged a ton of extra Unowns to bring home! I managed to snag a couple shiny roselia

Who is excited for the US event? I am not going but trapinch and feebas with a higher spawn rate makes me happy! I need the final evolve for trapinch and I would love to get another milotec (or 2??)

I went on Saturday - it was, as expected, the day with most people playing. My friend went on both days and she told me it was way better on Sunday.
Still caught lots of Unown (got all 7 letters that were available), finally got my shiny Magikarp *cries* and lots of Larvitar/Swablu/Slakoth candy.
No shiny Swablu or Aerodactyl though, oh well. I'm way happier with my Magikarp :'D

Was this the event in Germany? I saw a picture of it on Reddit, it looked packed!

I was lucky to get a whole bunch of Unowns during that Europe festival thing a while back. Hoping I can trade some of my spares for different letters.

The real pain is that I had to leave germany just a couple days before the event.

I have a friend who went and they got 8 or 9 shiny swablu.. they were hoping to find some shiny magikarp or wailmers to bring home but they didnt.. they did bring back lots of corsola and unowns to trade with the community though! as well as a ton of ralts & common pokemon for distance trades

It is part of the PoGO fest/safari zone event this year - in Germany, USA and Japan.

Wailmer didn't spawn there, so no wonder they didn't caught a shiny. I mean- not as an event 'mon at least, so no higher spawn rate. I didn't see a single one myself on Saturday.

I still need to check the IVs of about half the Pokemon I caught. OTL

i think they said they stayed out late one evening and caught close to 100 wailmers.. the park must be a nest normally

Looking forward to squirtle squad Sunday. Need to make room for balls though figured CS would be a good place to make friends and share gifts!

did anyone snag a shiny articuno? we hit 6 raids with a group of 10ish people on average and i think there were 2 shinies caught

I didnt.. but the group I was in, one person caught 3!

How many Squirtles did y'all manage to catch? I only got like 4 or 5 cause I'm stuck at home.
Buuuuttt! One of those 4 or 5 was a shiny! It's my second ever shiny! Woo!
