Doing a small giveaway for everyone on here because why not~

All you have to do if post from now till Apirl 14th. On April 14th, I'll count up how many posts have been made, and then use a random number generator to choose what posts wins.

There will be two winners who'll get a bust sketch like one of the better quality ones on this. I can draw most characters so no worries there.

RandomSketches ~ No worries~ That's pretty cool. Is Cyan transparent or is that just the shading style?

NARANDA ~ That Christmas art was worth the wait, it's very beautiful. I love Saber's pose. Is she normal pretty fierce? You have a very solid personality down on Arai and I love the backstory you have for her. You definitely should keep developing her. Aadrika looks so cute and fluffy in the pixel~
Mess is named that because he is a mess. He gets gooey drool all over things and his owner's clothes.

Weegeestar5 ~ Ir sounds like it's going to take a while to get everything plotted. You two have a lot of OCs to deal with. The first drawing is really cute ;w;. The way their relationship sounds, Serias and Rantas cover each other's weaknesses. Also, out of curiosity, how much stronger would Rantas be than Serias?
Ranger's hair is really the only thing that has managed to stay the same through all of his redesigns, hahaha. I'm glad you like it.
Barnabas wound up taking care of Axel for a rather long time as he recovered. For both of them, they were pretty sad and stressed out about the whole thing. On the bright side, Axel proposed because he was pretty sure he was going to die and wanted Barnabas to know he really did love him.

Syfy ~Banbh looks really cute in his human form. Does his herd mind that he's so shy?

I haven't done any animations in a while, so I made this as a warm-up.

It's of one of my oldest OCs, Marrow. I forgot until now that his design hasn't changed much over seven years (all that has really happened is small detail adjustments). Anyway, he is a terrible person, even by demon standards. Marrow's pretty much unapologetic for all the terrible things he does. He has nothing to lose so he's decided to might as well do whatever he wants.

I did a huge sheet of sketches (24 coloured sketches) so I'm going to show it in chunks.


The cat thing is Ghost Ket. They're a very angry and vengful ghost that refuses to disclose any information about themselves and, just to be frustrating to the person they haunt, they rarely say anything straightforward. Not being straightforward also makes it a lot easier for them to lie.

The fish-thing, it's a mermaid, isn't really an OC, but a species that populates one of the worlds my OCs live on. This particular kind lives mainly in open water. When mermaids aren't eating fish, they are tipping over boats and eating people.

The last one is Ranger. He's a super introverted vampire that rather spend his time at home with his fiance than go out and do things. Unless, it's something like a hike where you don't run into a lot of people.

@TenMomentsTill - Lovely sketches. Must say that I like the idea of a introverted vampire. Does Ghost Ket haunt one person at a time, or do they haunt several?

As for Banbh's herd minding about his shyness... His really close friends/adoptive mother aren't really bothered, since they see him regularly, and are fairly understanding of his quirks. Some of the other herd members who aren't as close do get a little irritated with him every so often, but overall I suppose you could say most individuals within the herd are fairly understanding of his shyness.

@TenMomentsTill - Saber is pretty fierce! Females are normally slaves of the gang, and even if they escape from one gang they normally end up captured by another. Saber is vicious towards most males and by defending herself and fighting her way up she gained the respect of her gang as a fighter and some are even scared of her.
LOL, I figured that is why Mess was named that, very fitting name! XD | That animated avatar looks amazing! Sounds like Marrow is a real troublemaker and a beloved char if he hasn't changed much over 7 years. | Those sketches are cool! The mermaid is very unique, and very interesting! Why is Ghost Ket so hateful may I ask?

TenMomentsTil: So does Ghost Ket basically talk in riddles? (not being straight forward would make this perfect I think) Because I love that in dark characters, and generally the way he seems to talk. This was back before I even had a tablet in like.... May of 2013. Phew three years. I think it toook a month of just sitting around making vector lines and then makin fake pen pressure.
Glad I'm not messing around with vector lines anymore oof. Takes a lot of time and dedication.
But haha, Gabriel deserves a little art/design update. Maybe you guys will see more of him~

I'll go ahead and start by answering these myself!

1. I enjoy high fantasy the most with horror or history aspects.
When in doubt, slap some magic ducttape over the cracks of your plot hole and hope it works out ey? xD

2. I think I tend to do the 'Strong and Silent' type more than not.
Although there are variations, I think that sums up most of my characters. haha *sweats*

3. I enjoy a time period of 15th-18th century depending on the circumstances.
Mostly for the cultural and clothing influences to help design characters~ Plus, who doesn't like swords

4.I really lack in the female department unless they are really punkish or generally rude or strong figures.
Also, I steer clear of 'innocent' characters for the most part. My headcanoning will corrupt anything it thinks of...


And I'm in middle of making a new character-
*turns to the side* i'm always making new characters what am I saying-
I thought what better place to show off the babe than here! I'm excited since he's going to be a harpy messenger bird. I'm thinking for personality something of 'stuck up' and 'prideful to a fault'. Maybe just a little too much pride in his work, since he's just going to be a glorified mail man for a small town. Ex-important messenger layin low after he took an arrow to the knee //shot. That may or may not be canon. Who knows. Maybe this world also has a conspiracy ring about shattering knee caps for money.



Been struggling with a color theme but, I think I've settled on this one. ^^'
I wanted him to be colorful without being completely unnatural so I've tried to go for an 'iridescent' feather look.
But uh haha, who knows if that even translates well. *stands in sweat puddle twiddling thumbs*

@tenmomentstill, yeah its gonna take a while - theres also the fact that we have to be motivated to get such a huge story plotted out when neither of us are busy. and the fanstuck group arent the only ocs i own either... i should probably pay attention to the others at some point too cx ahh i suppose they would, actually !! seriar defends rantes and reminds him that not everything's sunshine and rainbows, and rantes can provide a lot of emotional support ! as for how much stronger rantes is... well, seriar's a thief, so he's more stealthy and sneaky - so more agile than strong :p rantes, on the other hand, excersises very regularly and tries to get variations in his excersise, so hes fairly strong. so, rantes could probably beat up seriar. i mean, he wouldnt beat him up [he wouldnt really do that to anyone] but he could

hmm, i think i generally prefer fantasy characters [like shapeshifters] and homestuck fancharacters

i generally try to keep away from having a common personality type, but i do have quite a few ocs whom are loyal and/or sassy

usually an AU to earth in present times, i think !

im not sure ?? probably characters which are creepy but then again some of mine could be considered creepy in their own way i guess idk

ok so i have this species which is p much only for me and like... 4 other people whoops
and i decided to draw some of my members of the species !! theyre a homestuck fanspecies i cant be stopped
theyre a humanoid bird species which i have creatively named as birdies ;v;
im not gonna go into species detail rn otherwise i'd be here for a long time cx

leven and rhett !!

leven is robin based !! he is a cutie who p much loves everyone. hes very comforting and caring and loves to provide emotional support. however, he can sometimes be a bit too nice, which can infuriate others sometimes. hes very sociable and loves to socialise ! he can be a bit clingy sometimes whoops. he loves to comfort people in order to make them happy, but also to be able to be close to them. he has a habit of cuddling up to people a lot - the others in his family group focused a lot on keeping warm/snowfall [he lived in a particularly cold area], so he kinda naturally started to cuddle up to others a lot
rhett is based on crows ;v; unlike leven, rhett is more quiet and can be p aggressive. he can be over-reactive, even though he seems pretty calm a lot of the time. he often doesn't get attached to others easily and is often distrusting of many others; rarely truly being close to someone. he can be p opinionated and doesn't like it when others challenge his opinions. he's p overprotective of those he is close too and will always try to defend them. he has a particular interest into the concept of death. his family group often studies death and does thing to do with it such as burials, so for him it's a much more natural concept which doesn't really frighten him. that isn't to say he's fearless or wouldn't grieve over others, though ;v;
leven and rhett are lovers :'D rhett wont really admit it much; trying to appear as if hes not in love w/ him. leven easily sees past this, though this isn't that hard. rhett prefers to keep stuff like his love-life more to himself, whereas leven will easily say so to anyone. leven's optimistic and happy nature sometimes irritates rhett, and rhett's grumpiness can irritate leven, but they still make their relationship work - they're learning to just accept the others faults and love them for that. they kinda balance each other out - they teach each other that life wont always be great, but there are things to look forward to, too. leven super loves rhett as he recognises that rhett is a good person underneath his exterior, and that rhett can actually be super caring. rhetts particularly fond of leven as hes just such a genuinely nice person who can always make him feel at least a bit better ;v;

Ghost Ket sticks to one person at a time. It's easier to get one person to do what you want than several.

NARANDA ~ Would some gangs never allow females to be fighters even if they were amazing at it?
You're really raking in some cute art from this event. Is Hiroyuki one of your favourite characters? Also, the art of Lush is adorable~ What species is Lush?

I actually fell super out of love with him since I didn't really like the characters he was paired with anymore. It wasn't until recently fell very much back in love with his character recently so I've being making lots of small sketches of him. Ghost Ket died a fairly awful death and decided that revenge was the best thing to do (which it isn't).

Pretty much, Ghost Ket does talk in riddles. They also just like being a jerk and avoiding the question in the first place since they want to seem like a good person. I haven't done a fullbody for Marrow in years, the closest thing I have that I'm not embarrassed to show is this. I plan on doing a reference page for him once I finish up three others I have already sketched out.

Geinkotsu ~ I understand the feeling of always being in the middle of making characters. Maybe he can be extremely prideful in his work since he knows that he's an important messenger. What kind of important messages did he deliver before the arrow to the knee (were the messages for important people/companies/government)?

Marrow is a huge flirt since he's an incubus, he has to flirt or he starves. In super short, CS friendly version, he's a super petty and jealous guy that has being getting revenge for years. My mermaids aren't really characters, but more of a species that I love dearly (large, bite-y, water noodles).I answered the setting question with the other ones you posted for everyone~

weegeestar5 ~ Are all birdies going to be based on actual bird species? Also, Leven and Rhett sound very cute together. How did they meet each other?
It's super hard to give OCs a fair share of attention hahaha. Glad to know that Rantas wouldn't beat up his boyfriend or anyone. He really is a sweet person.

I'm glad you like Marrow's hair, I always have to struggle to draw it. Ghost Ket haunts just one person and tries to trick him into getting revenge for her. Mermiads are thought to be pests since they tip over small boats, catch swimmers, circle boats when they wreck, and eat people. Ranger was born a vampire. In my worlds, you can't be made into a vampire, you have to be born as one.

So here is the next chunk of sketches. All the characters are from left to right.

The first one is the deity of Disease. So in my OC universe deity's are beings that are fail-safes . Pretty much, if there isn't anyone else to keep the universe going and in balance, they will. Most deitys aren't really worshiped, but given offerings on the world they live on. With Disease, they are given offerings to keep plagues from happening. Offerings don't work at all since Disease just does what is needed to keep things in balance.

The dinosaur is unnamed and will always stay that way. It's a joke OC that I made years ago. It's just a velcioraptor that crashes god parties, steals shirts, is probably sentient, and is one out of three beings that survives the literal end of the universe.

Theron is a guy that makes a living off of scavenging parts of machines left in the middle of nowhere and selling them. He constantly makes a bunch of terrible decisions and has to deal with the consequences all of them (he ruins his own life and knows it).



I still need to name her so name suggestions would be great. She's a fairly new OC that I still need to develop (by this I mean I have barely developed anything). She is the girlfriend to Anastazia (the girl with the blue hair).

Fate is one of the oldest gods I have and one of the oldest in my universe.The only reason why he still is around is because he is the god of fate (his power is being able to see what actions lead to what result. So he always chooses the one where things wind up the best for him). He doesn't do much other than playing pranks on other gods and hanging out with reapers.

Anastazia is a third year college student who's trying to become a network engineer. She acts like a total punk, but is actually a really nice person that loves cute things (and hates to admit that she does). The best way to motivate her to do something is to tell her not to do it.

The one with 'nah' over his face is Break. I'm in the middle of redesigning all the characters and re-plotting his entire story since it's awful and I haven't touched it in years so I haven't updated things as I changed lore. The only thing I'm not going to touch is that he is an elvish man that has a vampiric curse on him since his family really screwed some people over. Pretty much, a vampiric curse is used if you really want to mess up someone's life permanently since the inflicted individual feels compulsed to drink blood even though their body can digest it and it winds up making them sick.

And the last two are Alani, they are an angel. In my OC universe, angels are genderless beings who's true form is just a ball of light. They only start having other forms when they are given a job. Most angels have one alternate form to the ball of light that they refer to as their 'serving form' since it's the appearance they take on in order to interact physically with the planet where their work takes place. For most angels, they get super comfortable with their serving form and hate taking on the appearance of anything else; the only thing that they will change out of the appearance is if they are talking to a higher ranking angel, they'll take on a similar form as that angel to show respect.
Alani is rather old angel that, now they don't have a job to be doing since they were secretly kicked out, keeps to themselves and stays on the planet they were originally put on. They stay out of all the fighting that's happening since they want to be left alone.

1.What genre of characters do you generally prefer to create or roleplay?

Hardcore fantasy ranging to just mild fantasy. I don't have many characters that can't be connected to magic in some way. Even those characters wouldn't fit into realistic fiction. A lot of stories also have horror in them since why not?

2.What personality type is the most common amongst all your ocs?

That's kinda hard to say. I guess I have a good amount of extreme extroverts, punk-ish girls, and totally indifferent immortals.

3. What's your favorite type of setting or era for your character to live in?

I really enjoy 18th-19th century, futuristic, and post-post-apocalyptic settings. Though,more often than not, I pick and choose things from multiple eras and settings.

4. Are there any characters you prefer not to create or roleplay?
I have a hard time roleplaying/making small children and super girly characters.
I also have a hard time designing light/pastel characters. I wouldn't mind having one if I could make a design I liked.

@Geinkotsu - Welcome to the club! Ahh, Gabriel looks amazing. Absolutely love the wings! Banbh does keep his tail and wings in his humanoid form, though his wings tend to get in the way a little bit. As for height, he's around 6ft 7ins. So pretty tall. The new character you're working on looks really interesting.

@weegeestar5 - Banbh does get a little bit braver, but overall he is a fairly nervous thing. He acts as a messenger for the herd, since he tends to spend long periods of time away from them, and so brings news from the outside news. Birdies look awesome.

TenMomentsTill - Banbh's real parents whereabouts are unknown. He was found wandering the forest as a yearling. He doesn't remember much from before then. All those sketches look awesome.

@TenMomentsTill - Some gangs would allow it, but Saber's particular gang does not. Saber will not leave because her sister is in this gang and she would never abandon Angelique. Between Saber and Asmodeus, no one cantouch Angelique. XP | Hiroyuki is indeed one of my fave chars right now! Been spoiling him rotten! | Lush is part tiger and part fish, she is based on a Moorish Idol, and Pseudanthias tuka.

1.What genre of characters do you generally prefer to create or roleplay?
I like fantasy in some way or form, weather it's their looks, species, world, or if they have powers of some sort.
I occasionally have a more natural character, but I never connect to them as much as others.

2.What personality type is the most common amongst all your ocs?
Serious, brave, protective, kind, gentle. Those are just a few terms I use a lot.
I rarely, almost never, have playful, hyperactive, or overly bubbly chars.

3. What's your favorite type of setting or era for your character to live in?
I enjoy older times with swords, bows, arrows. Times without guns.
Most are set in medieval times, I have a couple more modern time ones.
I don't like ones from advanced civilizations, but I do have post-apocalyptic ones.
I would love one from cave man times.

4. Are there any characters you prefer not to create or roleplay?
Robotic chars, extremely futuristic as in advanced civilizations.
Way too natural of characters with very little unique about them compared to the real thing.
WARRIORS, I used to love the books but the fandom on CS has ruined them for me.


I got a new character! I never, ever thought this character would be for sale. Now look! She is mine! Thanks to an amazing friend, dragongoddest! Her name is Kaiya, I am keeping her original name. She is designed by ghuoyei (aka ufoparking), and inspired by Avatar (The Last Airbender) She is a water bender!
