Oh yes, Flight is much smoother, there's better textures on things like Roofs, and our dragons are much less blocky!

I've started taking part in the Battles.
Winnings so far go 10 Gems, fish, fish, Scauldren saddle.
For the Scauldren I don't have.

Oh man, I really really love the new update. I saw it last week when it was released but I forgot to check this thread. I was wondering when they were going to switch over to summer - it felt like the game was wintery for a lot longer this year than previously - and then I logged in to see the game. It looks so beautiful, oh my gosh. I spent like an hour just flying around and admiring all the new stuff. The game itself seems a lot less laggy too, but maybe that's just my computer? I love the new Loki's mirage prize, but I like my main Viking's hair too much the way it is, so I think I'm gonna complete the maze on one of my side characters.

I haven't been playing for the last couple days; been out visiting Family and I didn't want to murder their WiFi. xD
But I'll be popping on here in a minute, to get myself all preped for the battle.
Fingers crossed for a good prize, but I won't hold my breath on it.

I forgot what I won, but it wasn't significant. I had gotten Silver tier though, so I'm hoping for the same amount of luck here in an hour.

What dragon do you use for battle? I used to use a Screaming Death but I've switched to my Scauldron and I have pretty good luck with him. I know dragons are expensive though

There's a battle in about an hour so if I remember I'm going to pop in and do it, and maybe I'll hang out for a while afterwards so if anyone wants to meet up and race or something?

I switch between my Gronckle and my Nadder; but remember, I only have 4 dragons.
I'd love to hang out after the battle, but I'll have to leave shortly after it to go get my brother.

I was able to do my second battle of the day, and I got 25 gems! ^^
My gem count is now 69; nowhere near enough for any kind of expansion, but these battles are going to help put a dent in my wait time.

I've been good, I suppose.
I haven't been able to keep up my daily prize streak; I was over at a friends place over night.
I got a few more gems from another battle though and now I'm up to about 83.

I haven't gotten any really good prizes from battles in a while - although admittedly I haven't been doing that many recently anyway. I almost have enough gems to get another dragon so I'm excited about that :0 Haven't decided what species yet though.

I'm guessing that RTTE season five will be released sometime this summer (probably August or maybe the end of July) so I'm sure there'll be a new SoD expansion then too! I know the expansion packs are really expensive and earning gems is hard but... man, they're so worth it. They're a lot of fun and they have some of my favorite quests.

Well, that was lovely.
I just tried to join in on the battle, and my game froze.
Nice. >.>

The game never used to freeze on me like this; it's only been since the graphics update.
Most of the time I have to hard re-boot the computer.
