If you could change one thing about BDS, what would it be?
Honestly, I'm not sure ^^ BDS is nice enough the way it is. Probably the "Up for Adopts" post should be updated regularly / in a constant sequence so that people can easily find new dragons to adopt.
What sort of events do you want to see in the future?
The rescue event is pretty good c: I would love to see more of those, but with some modifications to keep them special and interesting each time.
What sort of things could we do to make BDS more active?
Raffles, non-owner-specific/favoring adopts (so that more people can join the community ^^ ), competitions, events, and probably more chances to win semi-customs/customs should pop up from time to time. The SoD clan is a good idea, too.

i don't think anything should really be changed except more dragons maybe, like the singetail, sandwraith, etc

I think you should make a new artist comp to se if anyone wants to be an artist?
maybe weekly custom raffles or rares for customs- no VR dragons unless raffles?

No - it's lovely adoptables, would be a shame if you closed it. </3 If you cant keep up - perhaps take a hiatus? Pick maybe a co-owner to run the species if you cant keep up at all to manage the species untill you come back?

More semi-customs and customs type of adoptions. Dragons are so different that it's quite hard to guess what will be in demand next, all people have very varied lists of which dragons they like and dont like - then why not let the adopters choose what species they'd like themselves? Adoptions that among required info include what species of dragon the user wants, and winner gets their dragon made.
Ill give an example, checking the list of latest adoptions on first page, I personally only like the Rumblehorn out of all species in there. I do like other dragon species, but none of them were present in latest adoptions. That's why I only applied for one adoption when there were many available - just no species I personally care for. If there were at least semi-customs allowing to pick a selection of possible species the dragon would be instead, Id apply for all of them.

No! I love this place! c: It has so much potential - breeding, future events, roleplays, etc. etc. etc. If you really feel like you need to close it, maybe hand it over to someone else instead, that way the HTTYD love could still happen c: I, for one, would really hate to see these adopts close before they're even really off the ground (flying pun hehe)

If you feel like you need to leave BDS, perhaps picking a co-owner to run things is a smart idea? That way you can come back whenever you want, but you're more behind-the-scenes. I don't know. These babies are just so cute, I don't want them to be shut down! c:

More adopts, if that's possible! I always love adopts. And an artist contest! I would totally try out once I get back from vacation.

Please don't close BDS it is the best place for dragons on CS and I adore it <3

The only change I'd like to see, is an easier way to see dragons for adoption. Perhaps community members could sort something out? Perhaps a google doc or what not, list each species and then link to any adopts currently out <3

I'd like to see them stay but it is your choice. I think it just needs to be easier to find dragons up for adoption. I'd be willing to update the dragons if you like?

I agree with more dragons, mini-games or events and some sort of currency. Maybe you get currency by making gifts for others like art or writing? It doesn't have to be for certain skill levels or anything, so anyone can take part. Then the currency could be saved up to earn a semi-custom or custom as well as items or small edits for already owned dragons? Something like weekly questions such as 'what would your dragon do if..' or similar. To encourage people to take part there could be small rewards, maybe random. Or theme weeks like showing off certain species you own or dragons of a certain colour. Like 'show us your Zipplebacks' or 'show us your blue dragons'. We all agree on a day for the update (every Monday?) and active members can claim to do the weekly question or take it in turns. Or just some small contests, maybe monthly, where you have to do something. Tell a funny story about your dragon could be one? Maybe active or helpful people in the community get something as a reward? It doesn't have to be a huge reward because those who don't have time might think it's unfair. I feel like it's the same people in the community so maybe some way to attract new people. Like your first dragon can be a free semi-custom?

Please don't. If you can't handle it or don't like it anymore, maybe find a co owner or someone you can trust to run it completely.

should you ?? id actually prefer you not but hey its all up to you. id personally like to get more involved in the community and whatnot. and if it stayed open i guess i like the adopts as it is ?? nothing new to mention.

oh ?? adopts of course. those always help keep a community up and active. aside from making more adopts ?? theres nothing you can really do honestly,, its all up to the community/fanclub/et cetera to keep itself going and up. post questions, make a whole currency system for items, do all of that, but its all up to the users if they actually participate in things.
