Unfortunately, the last two syllables are getting blurred together in Vic's speech. Yaoi, written やおい、has three characters, and thus, three syllables, not two. Here's a better "proper" pronunciation of the word. (If you don't use google translate often, just click the speaker looking thing to here the pronunciation.
Although in America, yow-ee is more of how it's said... Silly Americans ruin all sorts of wonderful sounding words. XD My mother can't say 'manga' properly and it bugs me so badly.

I caught up on a manga known as Ookami-heika no Hanayome and was reminded of how much I love it. Anyone else heard of it?

I hope the japanese speaker is more correct than the german one (y gets pronounced different if it's part of a word in german, while the speaker just says it like a single letter). I tend to pronounce it just yao.

I once starte Ookami-heika no Hanayome, but didn't read much yet.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

mmph i wanna talk about kill la kill's ending.

alot of people think ryuko and mako's relationship isn't romantic because the translation for date was taken the wrong way, satsuki went with them, the hallelujah scenes shouldn't be taken seriously etc.
i think they're total girlfriends. B) but what are your opinions?

I would think that the Japanese speaker would be more correct than the German one. :P

As far as plot and characters, Ookami-heika isn't extremely original, but that's alright for me. I'm amused and captivated by the story, and that's all I need.

Ookami-heika no Hanayome... all I can think of is Okami when I hear that name... same goes for Ookami-san and her Seven Companions... unless those two are the same anime...

EDIT: I've been looking through the anime list on WatchCartoons, when I came across something called La Storia della Arcana Famiglia. Which is listed on there as La Storia della Arcana Famiglia (The Story of the Arcane Family). Wow. O_O

Ookami is a really common word, it means wolf and is part of several anime/manga titles, but Google informed me that the novel Ookami-san and then anime Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi are the same thing.

Okami also means great god, so Okami-the-game's name is basically a pun. But now we're getting off-topic.
