Hello, i have never posted here before but i have been stalking plumies for quite a while now (im still a non Owner) and i have tried out for at least over 13 plumies and lost them all, i just wanted to ask if you have any tips about how increase your chance of getting a plumie?

Well I am a non owner but I am starting to get better at contests though
(This is mostly for impress mes, but some of these things can be used in other contests)
all of this stuff goes well with any adopt but,

1. Art
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert, but any amount of art (if it is an impress me) will be fine! If there is a art limit, make sure to put effort in your peices! This goes for any peice of art you make

2. Character development
Write personalities, stories, and relationships! All of these things have to do with character development.

3. Effort
Putting any amount of effort in your form will get you far. Make sure to make interesting stories and characters, as well as neat art and pay attention to details. Little things like hobbies are important to include!

There is a lot more length I can add but I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands atm |D

Ok so I've been dying these past few hours........

That would be because IrkenChu and Viixen have gifted me the second Caramel Apple batch ;v;

I am proud to welcome Sienna "Cinna " Nutmeg Jones to my crazy little plumerian family taking up my 5th slot leaving me with one more ;v;

I love her so much and I already have some amazing ideas for her and I have received some wonderful gift art already!

Here is a small preview of what I have for her

Sienna is a very outgoing child. She loves everyone and everything and is always looking on the bright side of things. When you glance at her there is always a smile on her face. She loves to bake and if she can't be found, or the kitchen smells amazing, you can count on her being in the kitchen making some super sweet dish or something nice. While she loves to bake though cooking doesn't seem to be her forte and the oven is always calling instead of the stove,

Currently subject to change though because she I'm still trying to see if it would really for sure work with her family

never try for plumerians you don't connect with, even if you
think the design is cute, but you know you won't ever draw it yourself.
Trying for every single plumerian put up can become tiresome to
keep up with your own forms, making it less likely that you finish any
of the forms you put down, and if you happen to win a plumerian you impulse
tried for you won't end up connecting for the most part, and problems will arise.

Always single out which plumerian contests you can do. Like, if you're a good
writer go for impress me or story contests. If you have some money/pets/etc. to
spend on art, or if you are confident in your art style {everyone in my opinion has
a lovely art style so i'm not saying no one doesn't okay hear me out here}, go for
art contests, expression contests, etc. It all depends on what you are good at,
or have the time for. I'm not saying not to branch out contest wise, heck that's
how you get good at generally making 'good' forms, by experimentation, trial, and
error techniques.

The most I can tell you to do is don't give up or get discouraged. It may take a while to win one but no one stays a non-owner forever if they put their best foot forward. Don't just try out for simple contest, impress me’s can be intimidating but even if you don't win you gain a ton of experience from it. Don't be satisfied with the first draft, always review your work and make sure it’s the absolute best you can do. Don’t be afraid to ask for help in checking grammar and spelling, we all slip up sometimes without noticing and it’s good to have a second pair of eyes.
Go into the contest with the mindset that you can win it. Don’t spend your time worrying about your competition, tell yourself that you have just as good of a chance of winning as they do. As long as you’ve got the right attitude when entering you will do well, even if you don't win you’ll be impressed with what you’ve accomplished. Also, research, research, research. Try to make a character that’s different; don't always go with the first thing that pops in your head. The more you research the more you learn and the more creative you can make your character. Try to stay away from sob stories, it’s ok to have struggles in their life but you don't have to give them to much drama to make them appealing.

Just work hard, do your absolute best, and be original. That’s the best I can tell you at least. ‘v’

Also, I’ve decided I wanna try something out. I’ve always wanted to do one of those 3 way colab things, where one person sketches, the other lines, and the last colors and they do 3 different pieces where everyone takes on a different role. If anyone would happen to be interested in doing one with me, I’d love for us to draw each others plumerians! Examples are in my DA, I was thinking maybe just portraits so nothing to big or time consuming for now. PM me if you’d be interested!

she's very extroverted, and not afraid to say whatever is on her mind. she often goes with the flow, instead of sticking out with different opinions, though she won't chill with someone being mean to others. makes a ton of fish puns. likes to keep herself very neat and tidy, hates getting dirt on her fur. slightly bossy, a complete control freak. very ocd when it comes to making things. not very trusting in strangers, but gives loved ones and friends her full trust. sometimes leaks other's secrets, not intentionally, but because she feels like they'd make in interesting conversation. very dramatic, makes everything a really big deal.

I'm looking for art of her. c:
anthro / sketch / fullbody / headshot, anything that shows character, really.
I can pay in pets, and do art trades.

Hello everybody, i have a new plumie quq

Everybody meet Alisa 'Bubble' Heart! Lunar's and Ben's first child.
Alisa 'Bubble' Heart- Female- 5-7 years- has Anosmia (can't smell)

Alisa is a young girl who loves to draw and watch anime. She a quite cheerful and doesn't really understand danger. It's very difficult for her to make enemies but very easy to make friends. During school she doesn't pay much attention to the teacher and tends to draw on her homework. Alisa is a spoiled girl as her dad is a butler, despite her protests he still spoils her. Unlike her mother, she doesn't like music that much unless it's from, of course, anime. (more personality might be written in the future as she gets developed)
