Finally gonna answer some of the questions floating around.
How many characters do you have?
I think 25? Not counting the ones I'm selling ;o;
How many are closed species?
I believe zero. I just can't get up motivation to try for any, as well as the money aspect of some being too much for my tastes.
How many you designed yourself? How many designed by others?
One ((or technically two)) designed by me.
All the other 24 by others.
How many characters do you WISH you had?
Like six probably but I can't bring myself to getting rid of them.
FFF.
Debating over adding a couple to my sell list though.
what drawing tablet would one recommend for a hobbyist?
I have a bamboo splash, which I know Wacom doesn't sell anymore but it wasn't too pricey, roughly $80 at the time like 4 years ago?? Haha
How do you feel about people PMing/Noting you to ask if any of your characters are for sale?
I'm entirely fine with it, I'm not likely to sell any on my toyhou.se except maybe a few, but I'm fine with anyone asking.
How would you want someone to note/PM you? e.g. a polite inquiry? Right to the point? Conversation before question? etc.
Probably right to the point, but I don't mind conversation at all.
How do you usually respondo if/when people do ask you about it?
I've never really been asked, and I guess it would really depends on the character they're asking about.
When looking at characters that are up for sale, which do you prefer: a character site/profile or a stash group?
Why do you prefer this way?
Any tips for someone looking to sell characters?
Probably sta.sh but if they have a portion on their character site just for their character they're selling then that's fine as well.
I just like them all grouped basically. Easier to find what's for sale or what's in my price range.
are there any types of characters that you'd love to have but have not found the perfect one yet?
Specific species, like wolverine, marten, Fisher, etc.
It's not exactly easy to find these to begin with, so I doubt I'd be finding the perfect one unless I get it specifically designed for me.
How do you decide species or anatomy for a character, do you?
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by this, like choosing anatomy when making a character? I rarely make my own characters, but I typically don't make them 100% canine or anything like that. I like them to have something unique about them.
What's the best way to develop a character for you? (Mentaly/design wise, what do you develop most/first)
I think role paying would really help me develop my characters but I don't have motivation for anything lately so it doesn't happen. Otherwise I like getting personalities done before much else.
how do you sort your characters story wise? Do they all live in the same place or so they live in separate storylines not involving each other, explain.
Most of them live separately, I've thought of maybe making their own world, but I just don't see that entirely working, as most of them don't "know" each other.
