Allowing people to color their own equids on the new lines would have some quality control issues, unfortunately. And horsy would have to worry about people changing things around, editing the lines and designs, etc.

I think the "old" lineart is part of the appeal of WMEs. The species is still so popular after three years, and ultimately the lineart is still the same as when Horsy first created WMEs. It makes them unique, I suppose. It would almost be like cutting off the past if they were to change. :p That isn't to say that is Horsy's intention, it's just what I think of the proposal.

I vote yes, because it would be unique to see a new lineart... well updated lineart? I mean, sometimes its not the best for some species, but honestly, I spent quite a while debating about 'yes' or 'no'....

I agree, transfers probably won't happen. (But I've been wrong before...) but I would just like to say, there are websites out there that you can find hex codes with. And I think there is a way to use hex codes on oekaki? (*isn't positive*)

I voted yes, just because I want to see what the lines would look like before we toss the idea away. If the new lines look better, then I would definitely like to see them be the new reference lines! I am not one that really enjoys change, but this one could be interesting... I want to give it a chance.

Yeah you can use hex codes, but you have to type them in manually. xD

Another concern is how the transfer to DA ultimately failed... WME's biggest advantage is that the lines are so well known. A big change could backfire. >.>

Personally I would prefer to see a sketch (At least) of the new LA before deciding. It seems easier to decided if we could see them side by side. But that might be too much work to do if it might just get tossed away?
