I memorize Japanese words by breaking them down. I found renkinjutsushi (alchemist) really hard to spell at first, but then I realized it had "sushi" in it. X3 I remember Utawarerumono in a similar way.

Well the problem with me is, Japanese is too easy to slip into. I find it much, much easier to pronounce than any English word because of the patterns, and English is my native language.

If you pronounce Utawarerumono using the word "aware" you'll find the actual pronunciation is incredibly different. XD
All you have to do for Japanese is break down the syllables. U-ta-wa-re-ru-mo-no. Each consonant + vowel, and every stand-alone vowel = one syllable. In that way, every single Japanese word is very easy to say.

If you all get tired of me ranting about Japanese, just say something. XD I tend to do it a lot just because I love the language so much, and I'm rather familiar with it.

I know how to pronounce it, that's just how I remember it. Also, I was looking for plot summaries and the last episode is called The One Being Sung. Which must be really weird in Japanese because that's what Utawarerumono means. X3
Similarly, FMAB is called Fullmetal Alchemist: Fullmetal Alchemist in Japanese, and the first episode is called Fullmetal Alchemist. X3

I randomly decided to pick up Dangan Ronpa today.
It sort of reminds me of Detective Conan. XD I like it thus far.

I've seen one episode of Busou Renkin. Does Sword Art Online count as shounen?

If that's all you've seen, I'm not surprised that you'd think FMA is bloody. Go ahead and watch Attack on Titan, and you'll understand a little more about "bloody" anime. Although even SnK isn't horrible.

I have a friend IRL who got me into FMA and he also likes Attack on Titan.
(By the way, on the anime and manga list, on the FMA section could you change "Ao no Exorcist" to "Blue Exorcist"? Using only English names if they exist just makes things easier.)

I personally dislike using English names... Somehow it just seems off to me. I don't even know all the anime that have English titles. XD
Not exactly my decision though.

I saw WatchMojo.com's top ten anime powers video once and I think there was some Elfen Lied on there... to be fair, I was listening more than watching... and I don't get traumatized easily...
