What do you use to transparentise things?
As in, get a transparent background? I have GIMP Portable on my flash drive when I'm away from my desktop and I have Photoshop CC and PaintTool SAI on my desktop. All of those programs will allow you to produce a transparent background. I've also tried FireAlpaca and Paint.net and both, I believe, enabled transparency as well.

The body of most dragons is usually based on the anatomy of felines. If you're having difficulty with the lying pose, here are a few photos to study that could help you out.

XI've been putting a bit of time toward studying cervidae and would like a bit of help drawing them. I love looking through sketches. Most are more graceful than what I would like to create. I've already found this lovely tutorial, but the more guides out there, the better. Right?
TutorialEven just sketches of deer would be useful. Something that helps me break down the animal into simple shapes.

i need some help uou
im looking to get a new tablet for christmas but i dont really know where to start. right now i have a bamboo capture and it is definitely the worst tablet ive ever had. ive dealt with it for 2 years somehow w/ it constantly breaking, drivers constantly failing and touch sensitivity going away at random. the final straw is that wacom's own driver update just made it unrecognizable to my computer and im tired of dealing with it.
anyway, im looking at either getting the intuos pen or intuos manga. what's the difference between the two? do they just lie in software or is there something different with functionality as well? also, please tell me you can turn touch mode off - its incredibly infuriating and uncomfortable for me to not be able to lie my hand on the tablet.

Ponds can be a variety of colors depending on the algae and minerals in them. It may be a good idea to determine where your scene takes place as location can have everything to do with color. Ponds can be very reflective and mirror the trees or sky in your drawing. Here's an image search for ponds:
Google search@patrick stump: I haven't had any experience with either. I used a Wacom Intuos 5 while taking courses at the community learning center and at home, I have a six year old Genius MousePen that I kind of want to replace and try for something more professional. It's still a nice tablet, but I would like more buttons and a more comfortable style of stylus.
