Well, now that I have my mind set on becoming Wiccan all I have to do now is try to figure out how to tell my parents/family, decide if I'm Dianic or Atheist Wiccan and find some one to help guide me through it... I have a lot of work to do >~>

Wiccan is such a large umbrella, the beliefs differ by person. Yes, males can be Wiccan, there's no gender barrier (except for a few Dianic circles). It's pop culture that has started the stigma that the faith is female-only. I know the way the system works, even if I'm not a part of it anymore.

One of my arrows snapped when it hit the makeshift target I set up... that's not very good for my stance with Apollo and Aries. Crap. No picking up a sword fo the rest of the night, that's for sure.

How do the Greek Gods and Goddesses fit in?

It's complicated.

Wiccans don't always worship thr Greek deities, some just focus on the Horned God and Triple Goddess, but those are decendants from the classical Pagan Gods and Goddesses, most often the religion of Wicca focuses on Artemis, Greek Goddess of The Moon. Some stretch farther with the 'lesser' deities, and others do not; yet, some Wiccans follow their own deities that have nothing to do with the classical Pagan Gods and Goddesses.

Like I said, Wicca is a massive umbrella. As long as the cores are the cores of Wicca, you can bend in many different shapes and followings.

*nods* Thank you, I think I understand it better now. Well, I guess ya'll will be hearing from me more often now that I have my mind set on this, no matter what anyone else says. Perhaps I was being guided towards this anyway by my mother, since I already have many of the supplies needed for rituals.

If I wasn't training in the ways of the sword instead of the spell, perhaps I wouldn't need to turn my back on Wicca as a reliion. Hellenic Paganism is my path, primarily under Aries and Apollo, I feel comfortable with it. Yet I can appreciate what I walk away from Wicca holding, knowledge to educate and chase away ignorance.
