I do usually laugh at people, but sometimes, I just find it rather frightening. I mean, this is the next generation of people (or the current generation... EVEN WORSE D:) and their total disregard for grammar is... Well, a little scary. Is this what the world is coming to?

Me too! But that was kinda scary. They spelled fair wrong, and uncommon. They didn't capitalize anything, and they had no apostraphies! (spelled that wrong sorry, Im such a hypocritXD(I probably spelled that wrong too!))

I don't get scared. I get angry and annoyed. It's not that hard to learn proper grammar. They're just being lazy. -_- I mean, unless they are just learning English, and they actually speak a different language. Then it's okay.

If people use chat speak and still can speak & spell fluent English, in my mind it just shows that they are being lazy, or trying hard to be annoying, maybe even trying to get attention.
Chat Speak = Bad reputation in most.

That's exactly what to do when you're bored, fix up that horrific grammar and grab a decent vocabulary book. -nods knowingly-[/list][/color]

There is a book called 100 Words to Make You Sound Smart (or something to that effect) that is quite excellent. Expanded my vocab very nicely.

And being a teenager, it is important I know how to read and write chatspeak, as my friends think I'm PO'ed at them if I text in proper English XD
