Instead of stalking this thread as usual, I'm actually going to post for once! Yaaay! :D
Kaycee, you read Jeremy Thatcher as well? It's really low for my reading level, but I love it to death<3333 I almost cry every time I read it ;w;Wolves Run Free wrote:What are the best dragon books people have read? I love reading dragon based books, and am looking for some more.
So far my top dragons books are Eragon, Slathbog's Gold [Actually this book is about killing an evil dragon but more dragons come into play in book three], Wings of Fire [read this if you love a dragon based world with battles and mystery! cx], Shadow of the Dragon, and quite a few others.
The Dragon Keeper series is extremely good, and I believe there are three(?) books in the series. It's well written and I find the characters very likable .3.
Has anyone else read The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud? I just finished it, and it was magical (literally!) ;3;
I loved the plot line, as magical-esc fantasy stories always entertain me<3 Also, it included snarky demons, so that was a plus xD

Julie of the Wolves (about an Alaskan girl who runs away and lives with a wolf pack) or Wolves of the Beyond (a spin-off of the Owls of Ga'Hoole series about a misfit wolf). I haven't read Wolves of the BEyond, but a friend told me it was very good. I did read Julie of the Wolves, and it's fantastic.
Has anyone read
Lackadaisy? It's a web comic set in the 1920's. And it's about cats. But don't let that put you off! It's excellent- witty dialogue, very historically accurate, hilarious and the story is fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone who likes web comics xD
Those do count as books, right??

Promise of the wolves is a good book, about a mixed blood pup who might bring humans and wolves together instead of the war that rages between them. o3o
Another good one is The Sight, although that book made me cry, lol.

I recommend The Sight as well, although it is rather sad. Its a very beautiful book though, and also has a sequel, Fell.
@Electra Heart- I love Lackadaisy! My friend got me into it a while ago. I didn't realize that there were new posts until now, she hadn't posted anything in a while. I don't normally read web comics, but I think its really good.

I read The Sight about two years ago so I've forgotten some of what happened in it. I do remember that I cried multiple times and I just couldn't stop reading it. ...I actually want to reread it now x3 Definitely recommended! Nightshade is a good wolf/human book, although it's a little on the adult side.
