Featured Users is a way for users to get noticed when they have their lights on. We will occasionally go through the list of users and randomly pick out 10 who have their lights on and post those 10 in a Featured Users.

You will still need to check the lights status of the users! Don't send them messages unless their lights are on. Their lights may be on at the time I post the list, but they may change their status before you see it, so always check.

on the topic of reusing from last year; I sadly had to reuse everything from last year due to severe time constraints on writing up new stories, and honestly? I love my story from last year so much that I'm glad I did! I think it's better than I ever could have written this year considering I'm so stressed and busy right now.

Question for people: do you guys prefer to send gifts on a particular schedule/etc, or just when you get to them? I've been replying during the day to break up the monotony of college lift, and it's been really nice to have it as a break! I'm not doing tons of trick-or-treating this year but I love thinking that I can bring smiles to people's faces with a gift! Plus I love helping out newer users since I don't use my pets much and I know there are plenty of people trying to get a start! It really makes me happy to be able to participate. Do other people feel the same way, or do you find answering PMs more of a chore/etc?

it can be kind of stressful when i see that i suddenly have like 20 messages, but it’s fun to pick pets/items to send to people and read people’s stories! honestly it’s kind of nice to have messages because like most of the time it’s completely empty

This was definitely going to be the best Halloween ever. Guy's whiskers twitched in happy anticipation as he admired his new costume.

It's the perfect costume for me, he thought, running an appreciative paw over the sleek grey fins and sharp white teeth. After all, the only thing with a more voracious appetite than himself, was... a shark!

"I'm a candy-eating machine," Guy chortled, slipping the mask over his face. "I'm an apex candy-predator, evolved over millions of years into a perfect engine of total candy destruction!"

As he slipped out into the night, slinking through the foggy streets like a shark swimming through dark water, he imagined he could hear the low bass:

dun dun.... dun dun.... DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN--

He abruptly halted. At the end of the dark street, lit only by the ghostly moon above, was a house whose lights glowed with golden welcome. A-ha! His first victim house! Guy's eyes glittered greedily. "You're going to need a bigger boat... load of candy," he promised the approaching door.

"Trick or treat!"

I asked if I could mention them ^^

*AHEM.* This is easily the most hilarious story I’ve read so far. When I read this for the first time I actually burst out laughing, it was that funny. I still have the aftersmile from reading it.

The amount of pure comedy and satire in this story is glorious.

I just hope she likes it. He thought as he picked up the rose and letter and got ready to leave. Tonight would be the night he told his crush how he felt. Besides, our costumes will go together since she's going as Christine. He thought happily as he walked down the street. Seeing as he had time before the Halloween Dance, he decided a bit of trick or treating wouldn't hurt. He walked up to a house and rang the doorbell. "Trick or Treat!" He called out.



Is the story and costume alright? Anything that I should change or add to them?

the costume should be fine i think..., though i would consider finding clothes for him like a tuxedo shirt or even some black dress shoes. i think it would help make the costume seem more full, if it fits with the theme of it. the story seems to be short since grammatically speaking, the talking parts (which you have italicized) and the "he thought" sentences should all be one sentence. i would recommend adding a bit more to your story, maybe talking about how excited he is to go to the dance with his date? i know i would be vibrating with excitement if i got to go to a dance with my crush!

Iron Man Ham and the Pinapple Sitting Cat have visited me this year! I love the creativity in all the costumes this year, there are a lot of good ones! Its amazing to see how much hard work someone will put into their costumes. Like that Iron Man costume for example. That must've taken ages!
