You can get ten coins every day if your Pokemon is in a gym- there's a button on the top right of the shop page c:

You will get coins once your pokemon returns from a gym.

Does the amount change then? Or do they return with ten from how ever many days they were in the gym for?

The coins dont sound quite right.
My pokemon was in a gym for about 21 hours and I ended up getting 50 coins. Which would mean something more like.. 1 coin for 20-30 minutes.

I bet the formula is more complicated.
My pokemon was in a gym for about 2.5 hours and I got 5 coins.

Found this;

For every 10 minutes you have a Pokémon in the Gym, you gain 1 PokeCoin.
Furthermore, there appears to be a cap of 50 Coins per day across all Pokémon and Gyms.

I just started playing again and I went to a local parkway. I got a Dratini and a Ditto. I'm actually motivated to play again because I am motivate to walk so yeah. Anyone know what level you need to be to unlock Raid Battles? I am level 18.

the last I saw was level 25 and up but it is rapidly dropping.. but honestly, lower level players will have a hard time accomplishing damage in the raids

I tested out a low level (one symbol) raid battle today. No one was around but I beat the 5500 CP Quilava by myself with one 2600 CP Vaporeon pretty quickly. I got 2 Golden Razz berries, a Rare Candy, and some revives I believe? And caught the Quilava of course.
