I JUST GOT KICKED OUT OF THE SPA GYM!
I was literally one gym collection away from getting a bag upgrade and someone booted me from the gym. How, is my question; hardly anyone knows it's there! It's so frustrating, but on a happier note, I like the sound of these updates!
Gyms doubling as pokestops is going to help me a lot. One of the few places where I live that has wifi and Pokemon Go stuff is a gym, so that means I could just snag it every day instead of having to try my luck for a pokestop

All Gyms have been disabled and the Pokemon returned to their owners. c;

Yeah, All the Gyms at 40/42 are blanked out.
Glad to see they're working on them though.
I noticed the Sprint store by our Wal-mart went from being a Stop to a Gym, which I though was...odd, considering there are at least 4 gyms on that stretch of road. But, If gyms will be stops anyway, I guess There isn't any harm in it.

I finally caught my first Cyndaquil while we were out! I also got my first Sneasel and Swinub, as well as a few more Charmander. Sadly, I still can't evolve for a better Charmeleon; I want a nice CP for my Furture Charizard since these buggers are hard for me to get.

I've noticed two new gyms around my flat, too. The first made sense (it's a small park with about 8 stops - now 7 stops and 1 gym), the other... not really, but oh well. XD

I'm hoping some more may have popped up in my city but since I haven't been out I haven't been able to tell. I'll be going on a road trip up north soon so hopefully I should hit some stops and new Pokémon.

There are cyndaquil, Swinub, charmander, growlithe, and ponyta near me. Quite a bit of them, too.

Oh, well I guess that makes me feel better. That would explain why my Flareon wasn't fainted too. Thanks for letting me know, I haven't been out and around to check if any pokestops or gyms have changed in my town

Caught my first Swinub yesterday! And a bunch of Vulpix, Ponyta, and Growlithe which is great!

Since I cant really go far without losing my data connection, I haven't seen any changes in gyms or stops so far. Except that, now there is a gym literally a small distance from my house! There were some close ones before, but now its even closer! I'm not sure why its a gym though..... my neighborhood is pretty empty..... and that stop was rarely visited by anyone....
I guess the few people who play this game in my neighborhood must really use that stop a lot!

Gah I was out for a doctor appointment and we went to one of the large cities in our state and there was a ton of stops ahead of us and I was just... *deep breath*

I even got a picture of all of the stops. I'll have to find a way to upload later because I'm on mobile right now

Yup, but only people over level 35 right now can do raids. This is most likely just for testing, they did the same for Ingress. Super high level players get to test things before they release it, make sure there are no serious bugs or anything like that.
