hey guys. so my game has a bug and I've looked everywhere on the internet for a fix but nothing's worked. I know it's a longshot but maybe someone here has had the same problem and knows how to fix it? worth a shot.

basically, ever since the most recent patch my sims (in sims 4) won't do...anything. I can click on things, sometimes actions show up sometimes they don't. however, when I try to make my sims do anything they won't. it just sits in their queue. they won't walk around or interact with anything. they just stand there doing idle animations.
the only fix I can find online is to remove mods and cc, which I've done, but that didn't fix it. I've tried using origin's fix mode to fix the game and deleting everything and starting again as well, to no avail. any idea what to do?
