To tell the truth (this might seem weird) true pacifist scares me more than genocide. Because of the true lab. I don't know, it just creeps me out so much

It scared me too, I waited to play until my sister got home. It's a little sad, but if you skip the journal entries it's not too bad. Also the green key, oh my Asgore. I had already watched a playthru but I was trembling.
But it's worth it to me for Asriels fight! All the lovely colors, music, and attacks were tons of fun for me!

At first the pacifist seems like the more difficult route, but then genocide waits until the end and throws you a bloodthirsty sans, with his claws unsheathed, and his hoard of catsterblasters.

Ya know Boss Monsters right? The goat monsters?
Ya know how they usually have fire related abilities right? At least, the ones we see do (Asgore and Toriel)
So it's easy to assume that this monster type tend to have fire based abilities
