hi! i loveee bugs! i love praying mantises, and stick bugs. isopods are sooo cute too !!
at my partners house, i saw this stick bug on this porch and i was amazed! never seen one in person, so i named him harold insantly!
i saw him few days later on the window from inside the basement while partner was working out, harold probably tryna steal my man.. but it's okay, because it's just harold.

ive been researching getting an emperor scorpion as a pet for quite some time now- i find scorpions to be absolutely fascinating!!
Fun fact: scorpions are dedicated mothers and carry their young on their backs!! This is due to hatchling exoskeletons being extremely soft, and as soon as they reach their first molt they have to book it from the mother because cannibalization becomes fair game :D
They also glow in UV light for,, some reason. So here's that:

Yeah, I noticed not many or at all forums about bugs and they're amazing tbh!!
I just recently got into different types of moths, and the atlas moth is so big, but it has to be one of my faves. I'm up for learning about other types of bugs too, I used to be a big fan of the rollie-pollies (or potato bug/pill bug lol) when I was younger. I just found out recently that dragonflies can't really handle heat well--its very fascinating to learn about them all individually
I'd put a gif and set my own icon but none of them work idk how you guys do it TT

I always was really interested in bugs and general insects. This weirded out many people as those got easily scared and disgusted by them.
