What feature/mechanic do you hope will be implemented in the new game?
i'm super hyped for the release of animal crossing on the switch. can't wait to play it, i've been craving more animal crossing content ever since i stopped playing new leaf (which i kind of want to get back into after i finish pokemon sun). pocket camp was nice, but it didn't have the same charm or appeal that made me fall in love with animal crossing almost eight years ago.
just a question for all you people who are also looking forward to the upcoming game...
for me, i'm hoping that we get:
a) actual paths to place around our town. could be built through a public works project. using patterns did the trick, but it never quite scratched my itch for an attractive town layout. it was kind of awkward, both visually and audibly (walking on a path just sounds like walking on grass). creating dirt paths also works, i suppose, but they're easy to mess up and not very pretty lol. both path creation methods are tedious and don't quite give me what i'm looking for, but i don't know about you guys.
b) more dynamic relationship mechanics. having friends in animal crossing is, in my humble opinion, the greatest part of the game. i'm hoping that we get more villager dialogue and more things to do with your best buddies. i'd also like if we were able to have an enemy sort of relationship with villagers that we dislike lol... in past games you could be mean to villagers, but they'd never hate you. sure, sometimes they'd get angry, but nothing more. i think it would give me an interesting reason to keep my... not preferred... villagers around (i'm looking at you, truffles).
thoughts?
