So I left my Petz5 disk at home again I've realized.. >.>
How much different was 4 from 5?
I'm hesitant to download 4, since I am so nostalgic about the version that I played <3 (and downloads also freaking scare me, though I'm sure you're not linking to any viruses xD)

Pets 4 isn't much more different imo, just doesn't have the mini games or the bathroom, and has the toy room instead of the big crate full of everything. Also doesn't have some of the breeds like the German Shepard. Also instead of the bathroom there's a room with all of the clothes. You also only get one baby from breeding. Not as good, but still the second best of all the games.

For one thing Petz4 is far less glitchy than Petz5 is just lacks some of the features like weather and a few playscenes. The breeds that came with Petz5, like the Pug and the Scottish Fold aren't in Petz4 per say but you can always download the Petz4 version of those breeds so you can still have them. The real big difference with Petz5 is that it isn't back compatible. So if you breed something in Petz5 you cannot adopt out to users that play Petz4 which is a bit of a bummer if you want to get involved in the community.
And for the record the Demo Download is indeed 100% safe. It's one I double scanned and uploaded myself because the CNet download often had virus issues... which is why I no longer link to that one xD

Which do you play? ^^
Is petzA the same on Petz4? Can you still affect litter size?
Thanks for the assurance on the download. c: My parents are going to be visiting me at school in the coming week, so I might just ask them to bring my disk up.

Most people in the community play P4, there are still some who play P5 or even both. PetzA is mostly the same except you can't change the litter size because P4 only has 1 pup/kit per litter. You also can't use the 'draw name tag' feature in P4.
Personally I prefer P4 but I still have P5 because some of my favorite petz are in that game and you can't backwards convert easily(it requires hexing and it's technically not the same pet and most people don't allow it.)
