I just watched the ending of Link's Awakening on YouTube, and... THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE CRIED AT AT WORK OF FICTION FOR YEARS. I could never beat the game myself, because I'm not very good at it and the 3DS I had it on broke, but I've known about the ending for years... so why am I crying? ;-; Probably because I've been reading about LA on TV Tropes.

I couldn't bring myself to finish OOT, probably because the game is so well-known that it's hard to be surprised by it. =/

Also, I'm still entertaining the idea of Adult Timeline fanfics where everyone is a Pokémon. Thing is, I'm currently thinking of making the guardian spirits in The Wind Waker the Weather Trio, but Groudon does not make a good Deku Tree. At all.

[Nitro Indigo]

A young Ralts from a small island in a big blue sea sets out to rescue his Wingull-attracting sister. Along the way, he meets a band of pirates and a talking boat, learns the truth of the ocean and evolves. He then sets sail with the pirates to discover a new land, but on the way the Kirlia is stranded in a mysterious world and befriends a Floette and a greedy coward. Eventually, the pirates find a new land, but their descendants will have to deal with a whole new evil...

How's that for a summary? And these characters will be self-aware that they're Pokémon, by the way. (Important detail: not everyone will be a different species in this fanfic.) But I'm still not decided on what to make the Rito...
