so umm... I have a question for anyone/everyone;;

what type of climate do you live in, and how much bullying do you usually witness?

it may sound like a strange question, but I have a theory that maybe climate influences peoples' hostility.

I love the purpose of this a lot, especially since I know how it feels not be accepted and what not. ;D; Not exactly bullied, per say, but y'know, I've had my own issues. I'm generally a timid and quiet person, but I'm glad to help out and I can be more open when you get to know me! :,D

well I live in a pretty safe area. Not much goes on around here.
I just get made fun of a lot by other girls because I don't like the
things they do. I'm more of a tomboy, myself. uvu

ive lived in two climates, which may add to the data, hehe!!

sweden, for one, is very very cold, if not just chilly, even in the summer.
i didn't hear even one word intended for harm come from someone's mouth while I was there.

the place i live now is rather hot, really! the temperature takes a complete swerve in the winter; but it is always humid.
it's an overall friendly place, but people are more bold in what they say, sometimes not in a good way...

I know how you feel. I've never been super feminine. Most of the girls where I live are girly-girls, so it was hard to connecting with them and making friends, ya know?

But now it's not such a big problem for me. even though I'm not that girly, and all my friends are super girly, it doesn't bother me haha. the only thing that matters is that they're good friends. I don't care what kind of things people are into, as long as they're nice~

It's a shame that others think they can bully others just because they

oh gosh. this!!
ALL of us are people.
every single one of us is a human that has cried, dreamed, laughed, and had passions.
maybe some viewpoints are too important for people to let go of and release the fog that is obscuring the glass of compassion,
but i think the world would be a better place if we all looked for the positive details in absolutely everything; including those around us, no matter who they are.

exactly ! I mean, I was just bashed today for celebrating
Thanksgiving. I mean, seriously ?? We ALL are people who
might do things just a little differently than yourself. If
you don't like it, please keep your opinion to yourself. It
hurts others when you bash their thoughts like that, ya know?

As for the climate theory, where I live, the climate is usually pretty warm, but the Winters can be brutal. QnQ The zone I live in his more on the industrial side, although the town I specifically live in is suburban and not very industrial. I do know of some bullying incidents, but my town { or at least my school } is notoriously athletic. Of course, being me, I fail completely at sports. ANYWAYS, where I am going with this is that there are some intimidating and maybe even harassing conflicts that I've seen. For example, some people take the joy in something called "booking" { if you are unsure what I mean by this, it is basically when someone purposely bumps into someone in the hallway and makes all of their books and binders fall }. I don't think I would call it bullying, but it is intimidating. My town does a lot of HIB prevention and Drug awareness things, so my town is cautious. Does that mean that people never get bullied? No, but the exact "bullying" doesn't occur too much here. I do think there was an incident with people bullying some via Instagram in town, but that was a while back and I don't use Instagram.
I'm not 100% sure this would count as "bullying", maybe it is just disrespectful, but there are A LOT of gossip hounds in my school. Unfortunately, I've witnessed them talking about not only myself, but others in a rude manner. Spreading rumors and what not. Thankfully, I have not personally been a victim to false rumors in a year or so... well... that I know of. oh well. |"D
