As to continue the book suggestions, It'd be cool to see SS's loosely based on actual story characters. Like Harry Potter, Lord of the rings (Gandalf Spirit X3), Eragon, ect.

And this is just wishful thinking and general chatter, but breedable spirits would be amazing. I know they're genderless and born of imagination, yet if two spirits had a special connection they could "Create" another out of their own imaginations. Of cause it'd be rare and only under extremely extraordinary conditions, or something of the like.
In a way I'm curious to see what a wispy, new born spirit would look like XD


And a last reminder to all that any suggestions/ideas posted are meant to be fun general chatter.

Though I would personally still veto baby spirits-- the wisps/ideas all spirits come from are the babies, there's just no rhyme or reason to them breeding. Though if YOD or Tyr ever decide to do customs, it would be cool to see the slot like, have a placeholder wisp image....

Addressing the breeding issue, I see both sides. I also think that baby lines would be adorable and very cute, but spirits breeding just shouldn't happen. Maybe one sort of compromise could be made- not sure of this is possible, but perhaps Spirits should have a test of some sort when they've just been created, the first time that they enter our world. Something to do with helping their bond with art or a story and such. Anyway, before they complete the task, they aren't exactly fully grown. Like they're kids at first, and then become adults.
Anyway it all twos up to maybe some Spirits could be their first time created and in 'baby' lines, you might call them.

How about a music book based Spirit?

I think if there where any actual baby lines I'd image them to be little wispy dragons. But yes after further thought the idea of breeding couldn't happen, still it'd be interesting to see what two spirits with different themes would generate. Such as a cross between an animal encyclopedia and steampunk. Or Sherlock Holmes and a Doctor who book XD

Lol, a little spirit with music notes stuck all over him would be adorable.

We do have plans for something that I think you all will enjoy, it might be up in one of the spirit slots either this week or next, but that's all I'm going to say >:D

And all of your suggestions are fantastic! Tyr and I have a few spirits in mind that are similar to some of the themes mentioned, but I can certainly try to put out more character based spirits! C:
Although character based spirits aren't exact replicas of the characters, like Arya and Dreamfall which are our two existing character spirits :D

What's your favorite thing about SS?: Their concept is just beautiful~ I love books and it's sad young people are starting to become distant from places such as libraries, but these guys just bring books back to life. They're the type of ancient and enchanting species that I love, not to mention how pretty the actual lines and designs that both Tyr and dragon create <3
Do you own any SS?: Nope, not yet. But I am putting my all into winning the beautiful SS #8~ He's perfect eeee n-n

I just checked the main thread and, lo and behold, there's two new spirits up! Both of them are adorable but the sock spirit is so cute <33 I love the new lines, also. They're like snakes with wings- isn't that a myth?

... though after some double-checking, I noticed that the winged, legless ones are amphipteres, and the ones with two front legs but no wings are lindworms xD

The new lines are fantastic! Love the feathery wings and can't wait to see more brilliant designs, makes me want to jump in for another Spirit ^^
My favorite out of the two newbies has to be the little joke guy, his expression is priceless. <3

I'm not going to say much about the amphipteres/Lindworm debate, but I will say that we're just calling them Lindworms for the sake of simplicity... and its easier to type.

Sock Lindworm is ending tonight! Get those forms in!
