I did a little cooking for my task today. What you see here is an apple and cinnamon crumb bread, two blueberry and strawberry tarts, a red delicious and a Braeburn Apple, a homemade chocolate chip rice crispy treat, and muenster grilled cheese sandwiches. Please excuse the quality of the picture. I only have an iPad to work with and it does not take photos very well.

As for a wild location, the Great Sand Dunes national park by Zapata Ranch became my dream home when I visited last summer. I plan on moving there someday, and taking my little zoo with me

It took longer than Sam had wanted to find the elf home, so by the time she arrived the stallion was recaptured and angrily pacing the confines of his corral. She signed in relief, and quickly spotted the elf leaning against the fence line, obviously fresh from bed, due to his rumpled hair and exquisite nightwear. Sam called out "Hello!" And raised a hand to wave at Farrinn when he turned to look at her. She walked Rowena up to him and slid off her back to stand next to the elf and watch the Narakari inside. The stallion swung around and trotted up to greet her mare, excited whuffling and snorts coming from the both of them. "I'm glad you found him so quickly." She was hesitant, scared that the elf would be angry with her , so her next words were rushed. "my little brother was forced into releasing your stallion; he confessed his crime as soon as he returned home. For the moment he is grounded, but you may decide any punishment that you deem necessary."

Okay, so, here we go:

We (my best friend and I) have been to a new ice cream parlor. Special with this one is, you can put all you want in yourself, it's basically a do-it-yourself ice cream parlor. My best friend is a health freak, so she annoyed me into putting loooots of healthiness into my ice cream. It was (is) freaking hot outside, so I needed some water based fruit to make up for the lack of cold ice cream, then. So why not water melons? I must admit, I put a bit too much fruit in, only a small part down is ice cream (fruit based, strawberry, melon, and only a tiiiiny bit of vanilla).
Anyway, I thought my new companion would enjoy it during the current hot summer days, so I brought some with me
(And psssh, the melon pieces remind me a bit of Nara horns, but no telling lol)

Oh, and the bonus task:

This picture was taken near my home, I went out with our 3 dogs and then looked at the scenery and thought: You know what? Next time, bring all of your Nara with you. For now, I only took a picture to make them more eager to go there. They can be as stubborn as mules sometimes, especially the new one.

I did alot of research on safe sweets for 'horses' and natural pain relief (because of my 'kari's scars) so I'm perfect on the food (though we close on our house in 12 days and I might burn it down attempting to bake something never attempted before! XD)
My problem is I have like 5-6 perfect places and I'm so indecisive!!!
(But if you need ideas, my creatures particularly love peppermints, and I know one that will go ape for bananas!!)

Finally had a break in my schedule to get on my computer.

MAIN TASK

I had to leave it on the ground because he won't let me feed him treat yet, but it's getting better. Here is Senshi's treat for the day, a carrot with peanut butter, a banana, and some oats.



BONUS TASK

This is a place near my barn that no body really uses much, the old round pin. It's quiet and secluded, it's a good place for me and Senshi to bond and as it has enough space that he will not feel uncomfortable.

Second Task

Raven leaned out of a window and watched his big herd enjoing their day while the smell of fresh bread filled the air. Usually his brother was the one cooking for both of them because Raven had two left hands if it came to working in the kitchen.
However for his new lady he actually got up and tried his best to create something. While his brother piercied him with looks because Raven threatened to blow up his beloved kitchen Raven tried his luck with the easiest recipe he was able to find. Luckily it just ended up with some flour in the wrong places and and a nicely smelling bread.
"Now just let it cool down and see if my darling likes it"

Bonus Task

As a heat wave recently hit Raven decided to take his darling somwhere with more shadow. It didn't take him long to come up with a track he usually used for a walk to calm down after a long day.
It went trough a small forest and a small stream went along so there would be something to drink for the lady, too.

Food Makes Friends

I went back to my childhood by bringing back a lot of memories of helping my friend train one of her horses when I was in primary school - I remember feeding him mints and oat horse cookies. I didn't have access to any of those, so I made my favourite oat biscuits from my mum's recipe, decorated with some chocolate hearts as an extra treat, and added in several types of hard mints because my friend's horses adored them so I'm sure Hysmine will also!

Home Is Where the Heart Is

I had the good fortune to be visiting the beautiful landscape of rural West Wales this week, a place I could practically see Isí and Hysmine. Though I had to take this with my iPad, the soft hills where the forest met the river looked like the perfect place to ride.
