So... a month ago I was this.

And now I am at this after 2 days of rock event.

This event though..

Hehehe, Rhyhorns are so easy to catch, even with higher CP. And they have a very nice spawn rate here, too.

In fact I managed to achieve all my event goals on the very first day of hunting. And I only went out two days so far.

im loving this event- all the geodudes are so helpful. i started with barely 15 candies and now i'm at 80-90!

Yeah the geodudes rock! I actually managed to catch a Graveler, too.

i saw one on my nearby, but we were eating so i couldn't get it.

i have enough candies to evolve my ryhorn- but i don't have any super good iv ones. should i just evolve one with good cp and good attack?

Well the attack won't matter because it'll change when it evolves. Personally I'd just evolve it on a high CP one for the dex entry. If you ever find a Rhyhorn with brilliant IVs, it won't be impossible to get the candies for it anymore.

Still missing Onyx and the Larvitar line, but I'm close to leveling up again! I've had a lot of good luck during this event, especially since I can't go out anywhere. I now have nine Pokémon over 1000 CP

Oh man, it has been a long while since I claimed over 10 gyms, but I'm finally back full force in the game. Go Mystic!

• Snorlax, still. At this point I feel like the only player who hasn't even (non-battle) encountered one yet.
• Dragonite, only 22 candies to go. So close. So very close.

Currently walking with dragonair as my buddy, to make good use of that event multiplier ;; I wonder if we'll even have another event before the anniversary one. Doubt it tbh. But hope that one will have a candy multiplier too.

Sometimes I wish I could switch teams because Instinct stands no chance, but meh. Probably wouldn't forgive myself if I switched either.

I was out for almost 8hrs today doing hunting. Managed to catch about 8? larvitar. What was really helpful was being notified on facebook by other trainers where they were spawning in my area so I could run to get them xD Yay for communities!

Lucky ;; community is not a thing here, and I have not seen a single larvitar all event.
