I have found a little information on Sarabi in the second movie.
I know that this post was a long time ago, but why would Sarafina and Sarabi be banished? They rebelled against Scar!
It was gotten from a Wiki page. It is a "fan" idea as to why they were not in the second movie. This is not what I think.
Please next time read everything, the passage said that it was "widely believed" and I never said that I believed it.
