Can the submission process for registering be explain a little better? To someone who doesn't know much about DA

*edit* Also to clarify - so basically makos will not be on CS at all anymore? Aside from the fanclub?
And uh... what about ones that still need adult refs :<

From what I've seen, you can keep your Mako's designs, but they won't be Makos anymore and you can't participate in any events with them, etc. .____. And I'm guessing you can't adopt more.
@Talon; some people may still wish to keep it as a Makoatl though. Especially if they can't go on DA, so they can't get anymore but their current one. Even if they can't participate in all events.
At least, can DA users register non-users for them? So they can still have them as Makos? C:
I feel that I should point out that according to moderator's past decisions, I don't think it is allowed to remove them from the species;
viewtopic.php?f=53&t=1934434&start=10#p60224765 , based on rules that were made after their adoption.
Most of us approached Makos because we wanted to be part of the friendly community, and because we wanted to share in the species and the species events and fun. We put in a lot of effort to earn our part in the species and the community, so you can't really just boot us out like that I don't think, especially since we previously never had any reason to suspect that we could be booted out of the species and end up with regular shark/dragons that we could have just made on our own in the first place without any of the competiton/money paid for art/effort and time poured away. Makos being part of an exclusive-ish species was a big part of what made them special for some people as well, and ensured that they were taken care of.
Ah, I must agree with this uvu
Though I'm not trying to come across as rude, there is a lot of truth in Bebop's paragraph here.

I do not have a mako but a couple questions came into my mind.
For those who can not get on DA can they gift their mako to someone who will be on DA and the new owner can then register?
Let's say someone can not have a DA but they wish to be part of the community. Can someone perhaps post on their behalf? Like let's say person A (non DA user) has a Mako and they wish to keep it a mako but of course can't have DA. So they find person B (someone who is willing to post things on their behalf). Then when things happen. Person B can relay the stuff to Person A (or you could even post it on the fan club thread) then Person A just sends their finished entries, art pieces, etc to Person B who then uploads it to their DA (with credits of course) and then they post it into the group on Person A's behalf. Is this legal. It was just a thought.

But, guys in the statement it said, On CS these are on deviant art. The mods have no power on deviant art where she moved them. Anyway also, those are from another species. in the mako rules it says:
- If you are banned from Makoatls, staff reserve the right to revoke your Makoatl.
You may not post images or share your Makoatl(S) publicly and you cannot post in
any Makoatl-related post.
They have the right to take them away, plus on the DA maybe they have new rules.

Yeah- if you do something wrong and are banned. But no one has been.
They may be moving to deviantart but they were created on cs and adopted out to cs users.
I'm traveling til Friday w/ no access to my tablet!
Mostly quitting CS; I'll check messages on occasion but
DA or Skype is probably a better place to contact me.

Ok, then everything will still be a Mako and you can carry on. Disregard the registration requirement. They will forever be a Makoatl.
However, as I no longer want a species on CS, I will take the new and un-used lines and move them to DA with a new species name. If it is against CS rules I'll bide by them. I'll just officially close Makoatls down, forever probably. RUs are being made this week that I promised.
I will use the new lines, make them an evolution of Makos, the ones that register on DA will be apart of a new evolution so their registration isn't to waste.
So all in all you keep your makos as makos and I still get to do what I plan. I didn't mean to cause a huge eruption, I only wanted to move them on DA ^^ With that I'm off to bed.

By RU's, I hope you mean actual RU's, and not 2 second designs to make people feel bad. ^^

Blue, this was a bit rude and uncalled for. Talon has been working hard for this species, even if she IS moving it to DA. She puts herself into whatever she works one. Needless to say, the RU will be of the same quality as the rest. To suggest otherwise is offensive to her.
