Dang son where did you learn to draw like that? It's amazing!

I designed a Trufty but I'm not convinced its a win http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13143607/
What are some examples of siamese designs? The more creative and unique ones, not silly Warrior OCs

Here, i redlined your pup for you. I hope it helps, oh and i just noticed, i would make the body a little bit longer.

@ MacGyver
thats really good, i love the shiny fur!

@Bulley
sorry, i dont really know of any siamese designs. Im sure they wont be to hard to come up with though if you have the main points, then you can do whatever you want. I would just make sure you have the points so people know its Siamese.

ANNNDD lastly, i need some opinions. I dont know what position i like the leg in my pic. Its going to be a collab between me and wolf250 on DA. So if anyone can give me thier opinion, that would be great!

@Mac:
Beautiful work, that coat you've given it looks absolutely perfect and I love its eyes, my only pull at it would be that the corner of mouth looks a bit strange, I can't really explain it it just doesn't gel with me... but other than that it looks amazing.

Umm, hey fellow artist, it's my first time on this thread and the first time I've ever actually asked for help and a critique on one of my artwork but I was wondering if I colour get one on this 'fashion' sketch I drew for one of my characters. It was my first time trying to draw a full figured woman I'd just like to know where I'm at as far as human art goes, to me, as a fault I recognize I think she looks too masculine.
Note: She's actually wearing a jumpsuit not a blouse and pants

♥Blood Corruption♥ -
One major things that sticks out to me is how wide the legs are... Or if they are hips, they need to be up a little further, near where the belt thing is. And maybe the legs are a little too long ^^ That is of course, if you are wanting human anatomy critique.

Hi, I'm Bella, I am --- Wait, wrong thread right? Heheh well I just came across this army and thought I might contribute and in return ask for a bit of help. Now, I just have one question. (And a bit of a backstory). So After using a desktop PC for almost 15 years, I upgraded to a laptop. It is actually pretty good, but I need a little help with colours/contrast/tones etc. So I have edited this image after scanning it. To me, it looks to the standard I would like it - I have looked on a few different angles. How does it look to everyone else?
Image

Too much contrast? Too saturated? Too washed out? Too bright? *flails*

Just a quick reminder;
DoctorDraca wrote:Please remember to comment on all work you find within 10 posts of your own (unless you've recently posted). Not every comment has to be a critique. You may as well say something nice.

@bella- I love you're style however unfortunately Human anatomy is not my forte but I can give you a little tips on colours. You could probably a bit more orange/red in the skin tone, this this tutorial can help you more than I can ;)

@♥Blood Corruption♥ again, humans are not my forte but you have made a valiant effort at drawing a human (I wish I was that good!) However I must agree that for some reason the figure does look quite masculine. Perhaps the shapes of the body are very boxy and need more curvature to the lines. I cannot link you to the direct image because it does contain nudity however the user 'Fadura-lotti' on deviant art has a rather spiffing tutorial on how to draw females. :)

Andiliion- I like the second image of the leg, if these creatures are fighting I think there would be more tension in the arm than lax. As if the creature is 'pushing off' the air if that makes any sense. I feel in the first image the creature seems to be gliding and I'd imagine this movement to not be as efficient as the second. Also- in the first image I feel both creatures poses look similar so it would be better to mix up the leg positions a little bit. I apologise if that made no sense to you whatsoever :L hehe

Shining Armor. - Andiliion has done an excellent redline for you and has pretty much outlined what needs to be changed already :)

@Bulley- I love a tufty trex! Lovely drawing by the way :) To make it more unique you could make the fur extra fluffy, similar to this. As for the design I like the design at the moment, If I'm honest it is quite hard to create a unique Siamese design since they are mostly very similar.

Macgyver; That Doberman is absolutely stunning. The coat shine is just perfect, the eye is very well done, and I adore the way you made the shading fade away from the neck and to the shoulders. Your art is quite astounding. <3

Shining Armor.; I think it's very cute. c: Looks very happy. ^u^

♥Blood Corruption♥; It's a good start. c: What would help is to thin out her neck a good bit, and for her legs to fit, you should probably widen her hips a bit, or just thin out her thighs. c:

Bella; The colours are very nice, but for a more realistic feel, as some soft pinks/reds to her cheeks and nose. c: Very cute!

I needed to distract myself so I drew happy picture.

Any thoughts? I'm happy with it, at least.

    Veins of Opal: I feel like you have a pretty good grasp on anatomy, but your hair could be drawn a little more flowing, it looks a little chunky? Plus, when you're shading hair, it might help to do less lines, or figure out where the direction of the hair is to incorporate locks of hair? this might help, I think.

    Anyway, I'm having a live stream [and no one else has posted one. c":] so if you'd like to join:

    @MacGyver; Wow, that is absolutely amazing! My mother's auntie breeds Dobermans and yours is absolutely spot on! No critique from me. Excellent work!

    @ShiningArmor; That's pretty cute so far! For stylized fur, I guess it depends on what program you're using, for SAI I'd recommend looking up some fur brush settings, you can find heaps on Deviantart or Tumblr. If you're using photoshop you can pretty much do the same thing, but you have to download the brush. If you're using a different program than I'm sorry, I can't quite help you.

    @Andiliion; That's awesome so far! I honestly can't decide between the two because on the one hand I think I prefer the first one, but I think the second one is more suited to the pose they're in.

    @Blood Corruption; That's very good for your first try! I think everyone else's advice applies well here. I could try to do a redline for you if you wanted, but I'm not 100% on my female anatomy just yet, I've been drawing males lately so I'll be a bit rusty. Just let me know.
    Also, just keep in mind, women, in comparison to men are very curvy, but I'm pretty sure everyone else has already pointed that out.
    Perhaps look up some male and female anatomy comparisons?

    @Bella; In terms of colours, I'm sorry, but I can't really help much, nor am I competent enough in the manga style you're using to really contribute anything constructive. From where I'm standing it looks pretty good though.

    @Veins of Opal; Looks amazing so far! Awesome anatomy. Just a little thing I couldn't help but notice, the lines on their faces that you've done seem very dark and sharp. Perhaps not using the black lines at all and just relying on your shading? Or possibly blurring those little lines or turning the opacity down a little? They just look a little sharp to me.
    Awesome work though!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Alright.
    So, for my turn, I've created an Alien species and I'd like some tips. They're called Avyloci and live on a planet predominantly covered in thick jungle (Similar to Pandora in the Avatar movie). They have one main predator called the Rasharrn whom basically look kinda like giant predatory lemurs.)
    So there's some background. The second set of muscles under their Pecs are meant to be there as they help pull the wings. Also, their eyes are supposed to be proportionally large as this is the sense they rely on the most. Also, forgive the sloppyness, it took me a while to do and by the time I got to doing the back view I was thoroughly fed up with anatomy and the wings /shot
    What I'm asking for help on, is the feathers on their head and the wings, basically I'm struggling to make them look like feathers, especially on their head. It's hard to stop making them look like hair and start making them look more like feathers.
    Also, I keep feeling like the Avyloci aren't particularly unique. As a whole, I like the design path I'm heading down. But the problem is, everyone has seen humanoids with wings and tails and large eyes. I just can't think of anything more unique to put on them.
    (And yes, I am aware there is a Species creation thread however I don't find that it is particularly active so while asking for art advice on the feathers I thought I might as well see if anyone here has any ideas. )
