BIG NEWS!

There is some good and bad news... let's start with the bad news first:
While in the midst of setting the thread up on CS, I encountered several errors. Several. Many, in fact... so I talked it over with my two co-admins about possibilities to help fix the issues I was facing. We decided to move to deviant art is the best solution... I know some of you will be upset, and I understand! I would, too. Luckily DA is free to join, so if you want to participate in Makoatls any further then please visit the DA Group, Evolantiss.

There is good news, though! The new lines will be used still (and they are 98% complete anyways), so everything has been set up already in a DA group. The group is officially open and Makoatls are back in business now. But wait! It's not just Makoatls... there are several species being introduced. One of them is about to be posted for sale. You may post and upload art you've done there as well, a simple and easy gallery for all!

I'll answer questions as best as I can...
Yes, there are still free adopts. Please feel free to join us on DA for them. There will be point and usd sales and contests, too.

The number system is starting over. You must register your makoatl in the group. Unfortunately, if you don't within 2 months the makoatl title will be stripped from your character. This is just so the archiving there is easier to maintain. You keep the characters, but it will no longer be a Makoatl. You can PICK your new numbers here. To register your makoatl to the group, please visit here.

If you have any concerns please ask, I'll answer them.

The jist of it, Makoatls moved to DA. However Makoatls are officially re-opened and I'll be making some this week!

So wait, are we not allowed to use our Mako's official pictures to submit them to the group? And could we just use their already form to submit them? Cause I really don't think that either of my Makos could be really represented or explained by the form required by the group...

Edit; And also what's this about our characters being taken away after 3 months of inactivity? How are you going to judge inactivity? I'm not comfortable roleplaying my Makos, so does that mean they are going to get taken away from me?

No, you can use the original image. Or one you made.
You just have to have the basic info in the description. I'm updating it now for better understanding.

GUYS! The inactivity rule is there in case. I'm not going to strip your characters away in a snap if you are inactive. It's there to cover my butt, but not heavily enforced.

Maybe we could get some sort of amnesty for the already Mako owners?

Like, get rid of the 3-month inactivity and de- Makoing rules for those Mako owners who adopted their Mako without knowing that they would have to adhere to those rules? Or maybe only have those rules for bought makos, since free adoption owners have already proven through their hard work and winning form that they deserve to own their Makos for good. Cause that's sort of how I feel about my two Makos, that I shouldn't have to constantly prove that I am a worthy owner of them, cause I poured crazy amounts of time and effort and love into their forms and them already in order to win them. Shouldn't that still count for something?
