I get digitaltimes, wikipedia, bulbapedia, pokemon.com, serebii, youtube and other typical websites you'd expect with pokemon, in that order. I don't think it matters anyways, it's not like it's going to change anything about the game. c:



Hey guys, I've been curious about something for a while now.

What pokemon do you see as one gender only, even though they definitely have the other gender as well (or no gender at all), you just can't see it as such?

Mew is a female to me for example, as is Celebi. Squirtle and evolutions I can only see as male as well, same with Flareon.
Growlithe and Vulpix I can manage to convince myself to be both, but Arcanine is male to me.
Mewtwo is male to me, as is Dialga, Articuno and Lugia. Caterpie is male, but can be either gender as Butterfree in my mind.
Froakie (and evo's) are male, Magneton's on their own are male to me, but oddly this doesn't affect Magnemite or Magnezone.
I could list more, and these are just the ones that come to mind.
I just find it really odd, yet also fascinating, that even though I know they can be both, or neither, I just can't actually convince myself that they are.
If that makes sense at all. xD

Yes and Rayquaza,even though it doesnt have a gender,is a male to me XD

Almost all the legendaries (Except some) are male to me..

oh man, lets see Gendgar-male yet i have a shiny female, Scolipede-female, braxen/Delphox-female, Flygon-female, Palkia+dialgia female, Gantina-male, Mew-female, Ganivor-female(there can be male's!). Shall i go on Ho-ho-female, Lugia male, Suicone-female, entin-male,rikue-male,Reshiram-female(even with the weard belly fluff),Groudon-male, Kyrogon-female

most of the lendarys are due to oc's but i could seriosly keep going.

Seems like a lot of legends are thought of as male for quite a few. x3 They do tend to have designs that'd make you lean more towards masculine, especially since they're often voiced by male voice actors.

And wow really? Blaziken a girl only?! o: I didn't expect that one. xD
With Rayquaza I can't see it as either gender, though if I really had to, I would put it as male.

Latias is already female only in the pokedex though (and movies) so that doesn't count if you see her as female since that's how she's meant to be? Latias and Latios are pretty much the only legends with definite genders in the franchise I believe. :)
You see Ho-Oh as female? Did I read that right? What about it is particularly feminine to you? Just curious. o:

Oooh funny that, since Braixen and Delphox are 100% male to me, when I see a female it just bothers me. xD
Didn't expect so many legends to be thought of as female only o:
I agree with Gardevoir (I think you meant Gardevoir...?), I still don't get why they let male Gardevoirs exist, when there's Gallade...

Well, I just see Ho-Oh as female, just with the colourful fearther.

Hmmm, so what about shiny Ho-Oh? It's not as colourful as non-shiny.
I'm trying to think of other pokemon that are as colourful as Ho-Oh, I can't think of any though pfft.

edit: yeah I guess that makes sense. Mostly the starters come out as male, so you were lucky there.
