what's some good mech anime? i've seen nge, aquarion, and aquarion evol, and lagrange is on my to-watch list!

I don't watch too many mecha shows, but I love Full Metal Panic. And I'll throw out Code Geass as well.

same here...I haven't finished Sword Art Online and I'm positive I won't be returning back to it. It was okay, but it wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be....

naala;;of course i mean nge! but I searched that up, i might watch it!

nitro+alfendi;; honestly SAO is overrated, so the fans make it look good. it's the same with heaps of animes, but yeah.

I loved SAO, but to each their own. :P

A question to the masses: Would you guys consider FMA bloody?
I honestly don't hardly remember blood at all, just in couple of scenes, and even then it wasn't horrible, not when you compare it to things like Elfen Lied, Higurashi, Hellsing, Gantz, ect... Is this just me, or would you all consider it as a "bloody" anime.

I would consider it a little bloody if I recommend it to someone who is sensitive about such things, but not more than other action anime (I think every action anime has some bloody scenes).
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

That's kind of what I was thinking too... I feel as though the Shounen label itself implies action, fighting, strong characters, and a bit of blood.

@benetnasch: Yeah I know. In anime, gore really doesn't bother me, but there are some anime that even I can't sit through because of the mutilation. I didn't make it through Hellsing, and I never even wanted to pursue watching Elfen Lied. Though if you've been around anime enough, you inevitably end up seeing the type of scenes pop up in the gory anime. I'll never forget the scenes of Elfen Lied I've seen in amvs.

mmmph I've seen elfin lied but i have heard it was gory. but I saw a heart, veins and everything glitching onto a screen in my first anime so most of the time i cope easily. oh and there's a scene in kill la kill where they show a heart, but there is worst than that.

(Well, I've kind of already gotten a PM from you, but...)
A question to the masses: Would you guys consider FMA bloody?
Well, while it's not too bad overall, there are a few very bloody parts, such as in the penultimate episode of 2003 where someone (not going to spoil who) gets (in small letters in case anyone here is faint-hearted) impaled through the chest and dies. There's also that very, um, red sequence in episode 2 of Brotherhood...

On the subject of mecha animes...
I kind of want to read the Solatorobo mangas, but they're Japan-only. I've seen a few images of them online and they're kind of... um... what some people would call risque.

No, I hardly see any blood in it. (Compare Attack On Titan to it XD)
