For our writers and readers in the group, which of your character(s) has the most stories written about them/for them?
That would be my boys Robbie and Magnus totaling with 65 completed short stories!

What is your favorite story that you wrote, commissioned, or were gifted of one of your characters?
I'm working on one right now I'm calling "Reading Of the Will" in which Robbie learns of the existence of his half sister, Rebecca, after the passing of their mother. It isn't completed but it's definitely some of my best story telling and descriptions yet

Again, for our writers in the group, have you ever gone back to a really old story you wrote for your characters and wanted to rewrite it? Did you? How did it turn out? (Feel free to show us the two versions if you feel comfortable)
Yes! One of the first original stories I ever wrote was titled "Introductions" from over six years ago. At the time I was super proud of it, but when I went to revisit it I felt like it fell very short in terms of quality and how I portrayed the characters. It was an important story about how one of the main protagonists met her love interest's guardians -- only to find out they were two criminals her team had been fighting for months. The rewrite was two years ago, and though definitely not to my standards anymore, greatly improved upon the original as far as dialogue and descriptions go

Who is your most spoiled character (art, literature, etc.)? Do you still spoil them or are you easing off to focus on other characters?
Ilya most likely with 37 art pieces. I'm trying to focus on other characters for awhile though, since I have OCs with profiles 8+ years old that have never gotten artwork at all lol

Maybe a weird question, does anyone have a comfort OC ship? I define this as being much the same as a comfort character, but instead of being a singular character, it’s a ship. If you have one (or more!), please feel free to share!
Ilya x Cameron and Robbie x Magnus <3 All four of the characters have some aspect of myself in them -- be it a personality trait, a defining experience, or identity -- and their relationships reflect it heavily. Ilya x Cameron represent how I fell in love with one of my closest friends, never expecting them to have feelings in return, only for them to make the first move after years of mutual oblivious pining. Robbie x Magnus are a characterization of our personalities within our relationship -- Robbie, being autistic, not always knowing how to express how he feels and often being insecure, and Magnus being the person who understands him best. The majority of their stories together are just cute fluff stuff with one of them engaging in the other's interests, or going on cute dates together. I definitely torture them the most so I have to have a good balance of fluff vs trauma c';

@Fae the faun - your ocs are so cool! the orcacorn and cow/bull(?) manatee is soo so cute! i love seeing uncommon species and interesting hybrids! they're also so cute together, and look like they could be friends which is delightful
@Atlas. - the way you described each of your ocs and their relationships having a part of you in them was beautiful to read! i feel similarly and it really resonated. the art you god of your oc is really sick! the lighting is really cool and dynamic.

my most spoiled character is connie! i don't intentionally spoil her, but people often choose to draw her during artfight and art trades so she gets a lot of art! i don't mind though, she's the frist adoptable i ever spent real money on and one of my oldest ocs, i love her to death!

i do! my comfort oc ship has to be my victorian ocs, arthur and wilburn! i love to listen to their playlist when i'm feeling down.

i recently got some art of arthur and wilburn done by elpir on artfight!
i started developing them as ocs a year and a half ago and they've very quickly become some of my favorite characters. arthur is the blonde, and he is a photographer who specializes in post-mortem photography (popular back then). wilburn is the one with a beard and he was fired from his job as caretaker of a family's estate and became a grave-digger. when he took that job he also started experiencing hauntings and eventually some of the corpses he dug graves for attack him.. very stressful for him, and he has to try and convince arthur that it's happening, who thinks he's just stressed out. also they're boyfriends. my emotional support middle aged men.

it's of one of my pas d&d characters and it was so cool to see him in such a dynamic art piece! he's so special to me, as he's my only character i've played all the way from level 1 through 20! so seeing him in such cool art was awesome.

i also bought casket, this character since i last posted here and commissioned a lot of fun art of it too! it is slowly becoming one of my favorite ocs, i love how simple its design is while still being very fun and it reminds me of characters i had when i was in my early teens which is fun! i've been missing my more "edgy" or "scene" designs for the past many years, at some point i just decided i preferred more natural designs i guess. but now i'm recollecting a good amount of ocs that were my old style.

Fae the faun - those otters are so cute! Did you make the lines? It's so nice to see animals other than the usual ones, I have tons of cats/dogs/horses but you don't see many sea creatures around c: Ty for your kind words about my charries <3

Ki-neko animura - yeah all of the ones I looked at were inactive, that's sad. I guess they are a lot of effort to run, and so many of us character hoarders just have so many charries already, it's probably hard to rehome them.

For our writers and readers in the group, which of your character(s) has the most stories written about them/for them?
I think the characters with the most "text" about them would be the write / draw to adopt old CS species.
Other than that, it would be my main oc Bicorne for my personal story Capri Diem. When I world build a lot of it revolves around them. Lots of the choices, the ideas of having the world be on ships and how this little bicorn travels the world meeting people. I also did one of those challenges where you write a new piece of lore every day, so that was fun too. I do think it's Bicorne at this point.

What is your favorite story that you wrote, commissioned, or were gifted of one of your characters?
Favorite story that I've ever written (thats not published) was again the backstory of Bicorne! Sometimes I imagine AMVs in my head about it! But basically it's about Bicorne running away from home by hopping on a boat, and their journey as they meet new people to get their own ship. They plan on their ship being a place of fun and leisure, but there's mystery about it since people want to know how a fun place makes money or even exists. I feel like at this point I'm farther along in animating it than writing it haha.

Yes actually! So before, I had Silver Traces and the main character was named Silver, which used to be my old sona in my older CAAA days. Silver was a tyrant and was overthrown, and then had to learn about the land they used to rule and right their wrongs. However, Silver felt less like a fursona mascot and more like a character and eventually I just didn't feel like they were the character I wanted as the protagonist.

So afterwards I did a soft reset of the world. I made the world more space and stars theme, and replaced Silver with Pyrite (which is fool's gold)

It's basically silver's story but with gold and a lot more space themed characters. What was the icing on the cake is I heard this mashup series (very random but it IS connected) and it kinda had me plan the whole story out to that soundtrack. So yeah, Pyrite gets overthrown but they have their old council still in place, and they struggle with keeping the kingdom afloat while Pyrite tries to fix what they've done wrong and make it up to their kingdom.

Silver is still the most spoiled character, with 299 pieces. I have deffo eased off in getting them art, and I have a special plan for their 300th piece when I get down to it

*rattles them* THESE TWO! Lambda the sheep and Tungsten the wolf! Lambda is Bicorne's younger sister, and I love them. They do have quite a few pieces but I'm always looking for more. They have human, animal and anthro forms and I just SKDHBSJ!

Too many to count haha. A large chunk of the Capri Diem cast are owners. Some keep out the riftraft and others welcome it.

I always take creative liberties! But I do have a lot of roaring 20s style characters but its more like I have my settings *like* that time period rather than them fitting in the 1920's perfectly.
