same here- i just hope it doesn't get to a point where it's so dead they abondon it though.

as they release new editions, if they continue, the game picks back up.. once you collect so many pokemon, unless you want to walk a thousand km, it gets kind of boring - I live rural so now unless we go somewhere in a bigger city, I don't play.. also the regional pokemon kinda annoy me at the fact that I will never be able to complete my collection without world trips unless trading becomes an option

Well, Trading will become an option, Niantic already said they have 4 big updates planned this year - including trading.
But it seems like it might only work if you're actually near each other and not worldwide trading. We'll see.

But to be honest, I'm almost "done" with Gen 2.
Sure, there are lots of Pokedex entries missing, but I do own Mareep and Larvitar, so I can collect the candy by making them my buddy and then slowly working my way up towards those Pokedex entries. And they're extremely rare, so it's not like I can go out and really search for them.
Same with Unown... DX

The only one missing from Gen 1 now is Aerodactyl. =\

I didn't know the mareep family was so rare. I caught 2 mareep, and then one flaaffy even.
Larvitar is a different story, though. Haven't seen one in the wild, but I was fortunate enough to hatch one.

A gym near me, all of a complete sudden, got filled up and leveled to lvl9 by people I have never ever seen before. And almost all of them are high levels, too, 2 being 37 and 3 being 40.

But other than that, their names don't strike me as particularly sketchy or anything like that. I don't want to report someone who is just visiting from out of town yknow, and I hadn't looked at the gym for about 1-2 hours before this happened (and before then, my pokemon was the only one in there and the gym was at lvl2).

But, I guess if someone of yall happens to spot people by these names in gyms near you, then they are most likely gps spoofers.

Day 1:
See's team mystic gym owned by team valor and see's it taken down by team mystic so I want to get it but I go to late and it gets owned by somebody else from team mystic.

Day 2:
See's the gym is owned by team instinct and it is still owned by team instinct.

Seems like people really want the nearest gym to me.
