im not sure if this counts as a spoiler so i put it super tiny

I was wondering, does anyone know the distance between the lake and the mountains, and then the mountains to the forest? The cats make it seem like its a huge huge distance but I wonder if it would seem that far to us? Has any of the hunters ever answered a question like that? Its somehing Ive wondered for a long time

I don't believe this counts as spoilers, but... spoilers, I guess?:

I haven't read the books in a long time, but it took them several days to get from the forest to the lake, right? The average speed of a walking cat is 2MPH, but since they did some running, let's say they went at an average speed of 4MPH. They usually moved from sunhigh until moonrise, if I remember correctly, so ten hours. So maybe about 40 miles each day, I wanna say. And multiply that by how many days it took them to each location, subtracting from the last day if they got there before moonrise.

That really puts things into perspective, 40 miles, thats about a 30-40 minute drive Id say, so yes I guess that is pretty dang far!! Lol

Hey, guys.. I am actually an adult fan of the Warriors series. I've been completely in love with it for over a decade. There have been times where I've been distracted by college/work and haven't kept up with the books, but I'm working on catching up. Right now, I'm reading Hawkwing's Journey, then I'm going to restart the "Vision of Shadows" arc because I have read the first two books but that was ages ago and I don't really remember what happened. I have almost all of the books except some of the manga, the last few Dawn of the Clans books, and the last 3 of Vision of Shadows (one of which has yet to be released). I have all the Super Editions except Moth Flight's Vision and that's because I also haven't really finished reading the Dawn of the Clans series. I think I read the first three before I stopped - I just didn't think they were as good as the Clan books.
I'm doing things in a wacky order, because I was so excited to read Tigerheart's Shadow that I did that before starting Hawkwing's Journey or finishing up the Vision of Shadows books that are out. So.. I'm still kind of fuzzy about this whole Darktail thing.. I'll learn soon enough!

Bluestar was always a huge inspiration to me as a kid and my first username for anything was Bluestar54. Whenever I used to have trouble falling asleep, I would imagine myself back in Cinderpelt's den in the old camp, with the sounds of a soft forest rain outside..

One of the main complaints I've heard about the Warriors series is that it repeats the same plots (i.e. forbidden love etc) but as an English Lit major graduating in December, I think that all literature does that and it's not necessarily a bad thing because no book is entirely original. What matters to me is that I feel immersed in a story - and time flies when I read these books.
I'm so excited for the Super Edition about Crowfeather coming out this fall. I really enjoyed Crowfeather's character.

Welcome to the club! I'm another adult English lit major fan so it'll be nice to have someone in a similar boat hanging around.

Personally I just finished Darkest Night yesterday and am going on to River of Fire today. I might read Tigerheart's Shadow afterwards if I feel like I need to fill in some gaps, but I started it and didn't really like it, so I'm not sure yet.
I actually just had the box set come in yesterday of all the novellas! I want to reread the entire series in chronological order since it's been a good six years since I've read the second and third arcs, and it'll be really cool to have all the novellas to factor in to that rereading! <:

It's been forever since I posted. I was FairyCharmed when I did post so, anyway...

I'm an English lit/lang major in Korea, and I have to wholeheartedly agree with you two ^^ I love reading Warriors even now, and love writing my own fanfics for the series! So yeah, I've started rereading the original series to refamiliarize myself with the whole 'canon' aspect haha.

Wow, it is awesome to see some fellow lit majors! On the subject of Tigerheart's Shadow, I didn't like it at first either. It took me until maybe a quarter of the way through to really get into it.

I LOVE THE MEME.

In other news, the Hunters recently released a box set of 4 books, and each book contains 3 of the Warriors novellas. I saved "Ravenpaw's Farewell" for last because I knew it was going to be an emotional read for me. I would just like to say I was right, and I cried, and I recommend reading it if you have not.

Hello fellow warriors. I have not posted here in some time but i did join a while ago. I to am an adult fan who has been reading warriors since 4th grade! I am hoping to see this movie become reality, what are your guy's views on this? i just hope they keep it the same story and feeling you get when you read the books. They got the same director as the harry potter series and i hope this becomes a success! i have all the original books since they changed all the books covers so maybe the originals will be worth something one day.
