Do you have trouble working out parts of your characters' disorders? Assuming they have a disorder.

Well, if they didn't, what was the point in having a story in the first place? The point of a story is to have a challenging topic/theme where someone overcomes a challange or learns something. So there isn't much of a all-happy story then, unless it's just a back story, but you would need to have some sort of issue in it, if you wanted it to be interesting.

I've never heard of that being the point of a story. I only know of a few stories like that, and you don't have to have some horribly angsty life story or a bad life at all to overcome challenges.

Well, you've gotta be happy with what you have. Yea, a few bunch of them do have depressing pasts, but also things that make their lives worth living for. Usually their lovers, or best friends and /shot

Actually, saving one exception from one of my nanowrimo characters like year, I only give my characters disorders that I actually have, and rarely ever have characters with disorders. Way too many idiots see it as a 'trendy' thing to give a character, and it just... really bothers me. It's just not something I want to use lightly.

On another note, I finally got around to doodling a human design for Nick. Now to make an actual reference.

Do a majority of your characters have a certain orientation or are they mixed (like, you have quite a bit of straight characters, bi characters etc.)
I have 2 or 3 that are homosexual and the rest are about half bisexual and half straight ^^

If I had them all typed up, some of them would be.
I only have two completed though and one that's about half done that and a friend and I are working on together.
My fursona Shiver & her sister's history is slightly depressing. After being blamed for everything, being kicked out of their pack, and their father murdering their mother, who wouldn't be somewhat depressed?
Ratchet's is kinda sad since he lost his sister that was like his other half.
Alassiel's is kinda sad too since her mother didn't give a crap about her and she lost her entire family, for which she blames herself.
The rest I have awesome histories in mind but I just haven't gotten around to putting them together x3

A lot of them do actually. I seem to put a little bit of me in each of my characters without even meaning to. ^^ Shiver's love of Feathers & Music, Ratchet's "do what I want" attitude & not being one to sugar coat anything, Conner's love of Coffee, Skateboarding, & Europe, Sheer's interests in Video Games & Fantasy Type Things. I could name something from each of my characters but that might turn into a long list no one wants to even read xD I hadn't even thought about that until you asked ^^
