@deimos
I see the gathering space as sort of like a TARDIS. Everything just expands whenever a new CaC'd-C appears, and it's bigger on the inside and you enter by a narrow gap which is always about the same size. We already have a border nodw network which requires TARDISes so why not?
Being bigger on the inside is probably needed as we have no mention of teleporting humansa as I am aware in CaC, and as Fourtrees (not sure if that's a pun on fortress? Bc no one gets attacked when cats are in there and anyone wanting a fight has to wait it out?) is pretty clearly a natural pavillion in a human park, there should be some way of making sure humans don't notice this weird place where all the cats enter pretty regularly.
Also, stuff like trees around the outside seem to increase in number so that the gap between stays fairly constant? That seems like a must to actually be able to maintain a gathering space.
The clearing shrinks when clans break down or are abandoned. But there's so many clans that the proportional change is low enough that no one notices, normally.
I feel like imagining the physics of something rather than the actual appearance as the focus of a place in my head is probably not the normal way to do things. Somehow.

@anyone
is it bad that i decide right off the bat when and how my cats are going to die? like i have a system set up where each cat has a random set age and death to die at. (of course, they can die before then, but if they live to that age that's how they will die, you know?) i also have a system of sacrifice? like, if i get super attached to a character, i can "sacrifice" another character's life, and the life they had remaining will be given to the cat who was supposed to die.
i feel like a shinigami, hue~

I do this!!!! But without the ages. I also try and figure out what their future will be (their mate, roles in any big plots in the clan etc.)
I haven't been to any of the gatherings on the roleplaying thread oops... I wouldn't mind starting to get a few allies and enemies for SageClan too, so if you're interested just lemme know :))

@kaden + mochi
haha, for sure. i already have some of my cats' relationships fully figured out, as well as their future actions and destinies. after doing murderers in thunderclan and murderers in riverclan for so long, i've become an expert at making up and entire story for characters with one glance.
also, tempestclan is down for allies/enemies, and i also have most of my borders open. tempestclan isn't likely to make enemies with clans that aren't outright devious, though. (the main ones they'll be against are hyenaclan and lostclan. those two just wouldn't sit right with tempest, lostclan especially.) and i wouldn't consider them trusting, so unfortunately you'll have to manipulate someone else, hue. qwq
tempest is much too wary to let someone get the jump on him

@mochi
I want to let them be manipulated, (since Gorseclan is still young and somewhat changeable) but I still want to have them live up to their clan description.. ;w; (proud, mysterious, pretty snooty) The dilemma.
yo, it's ember! i'm here with a reminder that y'all are radical!! B)
