Aaaaah I can't remember the actual terminology but like... where the forehead slopes down to the nose??? There's that indent there and it should be a bit straighter if that makes any sense i'm sorry i'm not the best with words i'm very visual and probably should've just added it in to the red(blue)line pffff

@John Denver
oh gosh, that looks awesome! I wish I could draw humans that well, let alone draw traditionally!

@Blue Wolf
Looking good! But I think the cheek should be larger and extend down a bit lower, it looks too small. The ears should also be a bit longer/bigger c:

@4dogowner
the dog looks great! I really like how the paws look, thats always one of the biggest struggles with me is making nice paws!
for the human, im not good at humans at all so im not much help ;3;

@NinthWolf
What a lovely sketch! I love the pose, so cute! Duh seems to have given you some really nice critique, so I don't think I can be much of help since canines arn't my best field!

carrie911; Wow that looks amazing! And golly, what a big change and improvement you've made in only one year!

BengalFanatic wrote:@John Denver: That's incredible! I've been working on my realism lately and I've been failing. Ha. You caught Harrison's expression perfectly. I do recommend using cross hatching to create soft edges, which it looks like you may have already started implementing. It just prevents solid lines when drawing the jaw and things like that. Very lovely drawing. I really have no critique for it. :3

Wow thanks everyone for your kind words. <3 And thanks bunches to Bengal Fanatic too for the suggestion. ^u^
Finished (I think). I may work a bit more on his hat though. I don't really like the texture of it right now. It just looks too smooth to me. XD

@John Denver: Wow! That turned out beautifully! Harrison himself would be amazed. ;3 But seriously, awesome job. Your texture and line quality are amazing.

@Vaiill: Cute! I like her dress especially, and her hair. My tip for arms is to make sure the fingers will always hit about mid thigh if they were to be at the character's side. That helps gauge how long to make them. Also, with fingers, block them in first, along with the palm of the hand. This artist, ( http://www.deviantart.com/art/a-handful ... -412760054 ) is pretty good at showing that. I think she may have a tutorial somewhere on there. that;s just one of her many sketches. I'm not super experienced with legs, but the shin should be about the same length of the thigh, and make sure to give form, so your character isn't walking with sticks for legs. Really awesome sketch, keep it up! :D

@hining Armor.: I love MLP! :D I'm not familiar with drawing MLP characters though. MY only advice thus far is to make sure to shade, ans to give value to each object or character to give them form. :3 I love your picture, especially how you implemented the light source from the window. :D

I have a few pieces that I could use some feedback on. :3

And the last one is kinda big, but I really love any advice/critique/comment on it. Fire away. :3 So please follow the link.

Image Indomita is a wild horse simulation game. You can create your own horse characters and guide them on their journies through the island chain of Paradisus. Lead your characters through their lives and experience the triumphs and failures they may face. Help them to become the best possible version of themselves whether that is as a brave explorer who makes useful and exciting discoveries for the herd. Or maybe as a silver-tongued diplomat who use their special set of skills to take what they want. The opportunities are endless!

@carrie911 - I absolutely love the piece, the lines look very smooth and polished, and the I love the style you have going on, a very nice piece in my opinion uvu.

@Shinging Armor. - I have always loved the feel of MLP art, it uses simple lines but the pieces always look so complete and full. I love the mood of the scene, I also liked how you used and showed the light coming in through the window. However the blue pony's lighting could be corrected, as she is darker where the light is hitting her, though it should be the opposite.

@BengalFanatic - Ohmygosh your humans are so good, and I love the bengal tiger's expression/the style you drew him. If you want any critique anatomy wise, I would just say that the face is usually wider and the eyes wider apart.

I would love any critique/comments on these two pieces -

@canter
I've found that shading is always THE thing that binds foreground and background together. I would personally add more details to the background as well, expecially near the two characters, like, add some grass and flowers and whatnot. I love the composition, though. c:
For the second one, I'm in no way a professional with horse anatomy, but the eye looks a bit small. I could be totally wrong about this, though, so you should probably get some second opinions! I love what you did with the mane, though. xD

@Zanjux - I will absolutely try to add shading and perfect the background as soon as I can, thankyou, and yes now that I think of it, the eye looks a bit small compared to the face C:

@Ninth - Ohhmygosh it's been forever<3 Thankyou<3 Well, before I used to draw canines, and wasn't very good at them, so I decided to draw things that I am passionate about and that I am around in real life. I am around horses almost every day and that helps me figure out and perfect my anatomy. At first, drawing a simple lineart would take hours to make the anatomy correct, but it gets easier with tons, and tons of practice. Drawing horses just seems way more natural. Speaking of improvement, your art just looks amazing!! I stumbled upon your artshop a while ago and was amazed how much you've improved.
