Of all the Pokémon I ever caught, there was never a 100% IV one. I have 97 at the most, several 95s and that's it.
CP wise I don't level them up atm so my highest one is still only a Vaporeon with 2700 CP and then a Gyarados with 2500 CP.
Reason for not leveling them up is because both don't have the best movesets for arenas, I first want to evolve a high-IV one with the best moveset. ^^;

Wow, my top Pokemon are all powered up, so it's still really impressive that you have that Vaporeon and Gyarados. You're making a smart move. I just didn't have the patience hehe.

It was lucky, because I caught them with a high level already. Vaporeon is at lvl 29 I think and since they're both with good IVs they do have higher CP already.
But yeah, I also leveled them up like once or twice (to get Vaporeon over 2700 and Gyarados over 2500 at least) - so I definitely get the no-patience-thing XD

My only hope left for the event is getting at least one of the Gen 2 water starter. So far I've not even seen it nearby. =w=

i live in the southern part of the us, so this water event is helping. i'm seeing seel and ice/water types i don't usually see. i just caught my second seel since the day the game came out.

i finally evolved my magikarp to a gyarados! it's 2300+ and maxed out with a decent iv, so i'm super happy ^u^

This water event has got me pumped!

I live in well, a desert, so water Pokemon here are hard as heck to find. Thank god for this update!

I was able to find a wild Gyarados with the event, but sadly it ran away! Then I found a Azurill which also ran away from me. Turns out I was on a soft ban. It lasted for a while but thankfully its over! (I got soft banned as the game must have thought I was spoofing, when in reality my mom who traveled far away for a bit was on my account getting me pokemon! whoops sorry Niantic...)

Anyway, I did get a Lapras today!

Congrats on the Lapras! With the water update, I live in a lame little town so all I can usually catch are Rattatas, Pidgeys, Spinneraks, and Natus. This water update has helped me catch a really good Squirtle and catch enough Psyducks to evolve mine into Golduck.

Can I just say that the magikarp hat is all I ever needed in life, and I, a mere mortal kraken, am not worthy to be in its presence.



Sidenote, only 8 candies/24km left for Grimer!! Which is going to be a breeze, since I've already walked 65km with it.

Hah I was having soo much trouble with koffing. I had only ever caught one, and then I started walking with it as a buddy. 30 or so km later, a muk randomly appears to me. Like ok..... all that effort.....

I'm so hyped oh my god!!
I took my cat to the vet today, so 2 of my 10km eggs hatched (I think I have 1 or 2 more woop woop), and one of them was a sudowoodo. But the other one was a dratini!! My first ever hatched dratini, and like my 3rd ever encounter or something. I'm so happy. I went from what, 10 candies? To around 40? aaaa I'm so glad. It's still going to be hell to get that dragonite, but I'm already sooo much closer.


How are your dexes coming along?

My kanto dex is doing great. Aside from the regionals(3) and legends(5), I'm only missing 5 dex entries (muk, omastar, snorlax, dragonair and dragonite).
Which means I have 138/151 dex entries for kanto
As for my Johto dex, I think that's coming along nicely as well. 57/100
So not counting the regionals and legends, I still need only 35 johto pokemon.

4 hours of hunting with many lures today and not a single Totodile. :'( *sobs*

My goals for the event are:
* get enough candy to evolve a second Gyarados (almost there at 340 candy, started at around 120)
* get enough candy to evolve both Omanyte and Chinchou (got it!)
* get a Totodile

BUT my 10km egg hatched and I got a Miltank, whee!

Kanto dex is at 135 and Johto at 37, though technically I have more.
Just waiting to use my next lucky egg and then I can also get 3 more for Kanto (Primeape, Golem, Omastar) and 15 for Johto (Bayleef, Furret, Noctowl, Ariados, Crobat, Lanturn, Skiploom, Espeon, Umbreon, Steelix, Scizor, Ursaring, Kingdra, Porygon2 & Blissey)

I do have enough candy to also evolve Bellossom and Slowking, but I'm missing the evolution items.
