i finally wrote down a p basic personality for him thats very messy but its ok ill fix it



pompey is a robust, confident and exciting dude. he may come off as a little pushy but you'll get used to it. hopefully. this plumerian reminds you of a child, jumping up and down when happy and whining when bored. his odd characteristics include; cuddly, unusual, and extremely glad to be here. his bouncy presence often makes people smile, and when they don't he makes sure they do. hes the guy who puts everything on the line for you, making sure you know you're loved. upon meeting him he will touch you, whether it be a handshake or a kiss on the cheek, he'll be physically in contact with you somehow. he's always up to make plans, never once flaking off. he takes his words and holds them close to his heart, never breaking a promise. dont let his markings and dark eyes fool you, pompey is a huge love sponge.

heres a quick read on how he convinces others he's not dangerous;



pompey loves physical contact, it makes his heart swell. his mother always stayed close to him, brushing her arm against his or placing her hand on his shoulder. it filled him with such joy he wanted to spread it to everyone else, grabbing their hand and pulling them along or hugging them constantly. to convince new friends hes harmless he will shake their hand enthusiastically, ensuring them that he is, in fact, not a threat. as he grew older the touches became more meaningful, and now he kisses peoples hands or cheeks in greeting. he enjoys holding hands and sitting in laps, and is a huge love sponge. the words "personal space" mean nothing to him, and when he meets a new person he will instantly touch them. many are often put at ease by his friendly intentions, though some take it as something else.



my plumerian preferences ( bc i'm so picky lmao ) are;

romance: basically i believe that opposites attract so a more serious person seems fitting to him. ones that hide their emotions and act all tough but really they're big ol babies are pretty great for him too. i'm actually a hopeless romantic i love roleplaying sweet scenes,,,,

friendships: p much the bouncy energetic types like him ! i actually get bored w just friendships after a while so i prefer romance

i have a few plots ready, so here is his living conditions; he lives in new york city in a rather large apartment, its got 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, one bathroom, and an extra room which he turned into his study/sun room ! he takes the subway and city bus a lot, he may also walk to a close store or somethin.

plot 1: you get on the subway and its packed except for one empty seat next to a stranger & you trip on your way over & they catch you
plot 2: the casual date at a cafe except your date is late and someone else takes their place so you don't look like you've been stood up
plot 3: you're stressed with work and have a mental breakdown in the middle of an intersection and someone saves you from a car
plot 4: its christmas eve! a huge snow storm hits and you have no choice but to knock on a strangers door and ask to stay till it passes

He loves to talk, so he is a television host! He interacts with famous actors, athletes, and politicians. Tavian is extremely smart with a degree in economics. His personality is lively and flamboyant. The spotlight is his friend and he won't turn down any chance he gets to talk. Tavian loves to chat with people and find out who they are. He is able to get a sense for a person and see through their masks and motives. Although he seems like a great guy, he is really blunt and can be very insensitive. He speaks his mind and can sometimes hurt people's feelings. His pride is also very large. He holds pride in everything he does and gets cruel and cunning when someone hurts his pride. It really bothers him when people stare at him without an explanation. Tavian is very loyal, but only if that person has proven their loyalty over and over. Despite his knack for seeing through masks and motives, his own mask is the most complex. When on air, he is joyful and eccentric, but when he's alone, Tavian is quit and regal with his pride glowing.

D: ive gone through the archives looking for readopts but most of whats labelled as readoptable is already readopted.

i guess im asking, any advice on all this?? i would love to get more involved with everyone and have a plumie of my own, its just intimidating and with the competition its even harder heh. thanks to any that read this little ramble thing and sorry about it clogging the thread aah >w<

You're not clogging the thread, don't worry! :3 And to solve your problem I think you're very patient for how long you're been waiting for. Honestly, if I had to wait that long I'd never have a plumerian. When I was a non-owner what I did to past the time was going to jms. Now, I know not everyone can go but when you make more friends in the community they'll be willing to help you out in contest and support you. Some might even gift you art of the plumerian you're trying for.

Overall, make connections. Support others and they'll support you! Or at least, that's how I did it. XD //love all of you guys

So I'll be finishing up judging and RUs within the next week or so (not sure if traveling or what not so)
and putting up some designs.

@cirno- good luck getting your first plumerian! i know it can be hard, but just stay determined. everyone gets one eventually.
my advice would be not to try out for every plumie- only try out for the ones you like and have a connection to, don't just try out to get one. you can stay active in the community even without a plumie of your own- getting connected with owners can really help!! you never know what'll happen.
@lilith- i'm not looking for rps right now, but good luck finding some!! infinity is really pretty.

hey guys!! i know i don't post on here a lot anymore, but i usually check the thread anyway. life has been busy, but i have some free time now, so hopefully i can be a bit more active in the community.
