theres a rumor going around that hiveswap is going to be released today (8/14) because of steams update schedule and the fact that 8 and 14 were in the new hiveswap song. opinions? personally, i think its fake and probably just the New and Cool™ joke for the few surviving homestucks still here. this was going around on tumblr, by the way. (sorry if this sounds dumb lmao, but i wanted some opinions on it.)

I actually saw that in some YouTube comments. Honestly I think it's not going to be released today because if it was I'm sure the fans would've been notified. Some sort of 'Hey, great news! After all this time the game is done! We'll be posting it on the fourteenth of April. ' Of course if by some small chance the fans grasping at this straw are correct, hey! I'm not gonna complain! The sooner the better right?

I... Don't think that counts? Since he would have no idea that they were all in a webcomic called Homestuck and therefore wouldn't have given it a different but similar sounding name? Since I don't know what you mean, by your logic I can only assume any word that has ever been said in Homestuck wouldn't count as a new name for Homestuck that I've never heard of. Someone could call Homestuck just 'home' and I'd be like 'Thats a new name for HS I've never heard' and you could say 'welll (enter person here) said home once, So no actually'. I'm sorry to rant about this but I'm genuinely curious as to what you mean. Maybe you didn't understand what I meant by 'that's a new one'. I meant I've never heard anyone call Homestuck Hamsteak before. Maybe you thought I've just never heard the word hamsteak. Maybe when you said it wasn't a new one you meant it wasn't a word that's never been heard of because Karkat said it? I know for a fact that a hamsteak is a real thing and is food...
