I have an idea for an AU...
Y'know how the Barrier sorta exists on its own, not attached to the ground?
What if humanity bombed the ground away- and the Underground was brought to the light?
Humanity would be no more, and the Surface theirs for the taking.... They would even be able to see the light from the Underground.., but the Barrier would still keep them below ground, even though the Underground should have been like a box with the lid taken off, creating a weak spot.
And since they had more room, monsters began to build higher and hollow out more of the world
But they'd still be trapped, and all they had standing in their way from true freedom is the simple fact that humanity is all dead... Or so they think.
I'm thinking of calling it Chasmtale, because they'd still be way below sea level, in a deep chasm, but they would still be able to see the sky. I imagine Alphys' jet pack technology would mean they'd settle as close to the Barrier as they could, too, in canyon side caves and such. I think the Barrier is pretty much like an electric fence, really thin, so they'd be close to sea level in some places.

@anotherflower: definitely, I was thinking though- monsters bodies are magical, I was thinking either they are totally tuned in with nature (natural magic) that they would be devastated and basically all falling down,
Or they would have immunity to radiation due to their bodies being magical and be chill.
I think somewhere in between would be best, like MTT randomly shutting down and maybe a boost in powers for monsters, as well as just a tiny bit of blurry edges and stuff

I already did Tori, but for whatever reason my 3DS won't let me post it to sta.sh or as a attatchment. ;-; I'm thinking of doing Monster Kid, he has a interesting design and colour pallette. The only problem is that the no hands thing... ya...

I honestly think Sans or Papyrus would be a nice fit for a cat design since you can really get an idea of what kind of cat they are based on the personalities and such. Also, upon looking it up, there would be many references of cat drawings of the skelebros.
