how do part with a beloved character for the greater good?

tbh I get really clingy over my characters, it's something that I can't really do /:

Out of curiosity, has anyone else heard of that 100 pony (Though you could use any species, really) challenge, where you design... Well, 100 things based on various stuff?
Because I'm doing that. Sort of.
Last night, I came up with an absurd goal. I'm a proud Troper, and have several characters to show for it. My goal is to make a character for every existing trope listed on their site.
...I don't even think they have a list of them. I'm going to be pushing the random button for days on end. I'll probably go insane far before this is done XD
I'm considering selling off any characters I design for this challenge. They'd be any species, and may or may not show their trope - Personality-based tropes, for instance, would have that as a primary character trait, then a mostly-random design possibly based around their trope.
In fact, if anyone is interested in joining in and designing characters along with me, I've got a Google Doc up with info about the project and whatnot~

Yes, I decided to save all of my characters art to photo bucket. Each of them have at least one piece and it used up roughly 8% storage more once I do the others.
