i have a painting titled the circle continues it's a lion king original painting that was made in 1994 it's has simba nala rafiki timon zazu and kiara in it it's the classic begining of the movie where rafiki holds kiara up on top of pride rock.

the storybooks most of them where made after the movies so essentially most of the characters in the books do not exist in the movies and are only considered semi canon characters.
