I 100% agree that Firestar is not a Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu. He had his flaws just like everyone else. And the "he was too old" argument doesn't even make sense because there have been plenty of other leaders (Onestar, Mistystar, Blackstar) that lived longer than he did, yet nobody complains about them and they all just hate on Firestar.

Kinda off topic but does anyone realilise this:
It took Firepaw and Greypaw ONE BOOK to become warriors from apprentices.
It took Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw, to be honest, i forgot, maybe like 4-5 books? (Correct me if I'm wrong)
It took Jay, Lion, and Holly like 2-3 books? (Again i forget)
It took dove and ivy 1-2 i think????
And it took alderpae and sparkpaw like one book.
Then of course there's all those super editions that I'm not bothering to add.

Well I hope u get my point xD

Well, Greypaw was basicly 6 moons, it says in into the wild Greypaw said something like "I just became an apprentice a sunrise ago"
And rusty was a little, without any training or knowledge, and I think that we can guess that he was about 6 moons

about the book-time between warriors...
you have to remember that in some books, such as the first arc, the fourth arc and the sixth arc, time passes quickly in a short span of chapters, and there are quite a few timeskips. with the second and third arcs, more information is packed into each book, and the passage of time is longer overall. it has nothing to do with becoming a warrior at a younger/older age, but instead with how time passes in each story.
